That game was hard to watch, our bottom eight were never in the fight and even though we fought back late still couldn't kick a goal to save ourselves. We leave their goal square free, no leadership in defence. They defend our goal square like their lives depend on it and how many goals did Heeney save on the last line.......??????????????????????? That was just diabolical...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Agree AF they did grind it out, stopped the Crows from scoring in the second whilst kicking critical goals to get us back in the game, then went on the rampage in the third and then steadied and contested every ball to hang onto a hard fought win. it was hard to watch, i found it very stressful but loved every minute of that last quarter. Like many on Demonland I never saw this coming and was immediately a bit shocked given our rivalry (hatred) of Collingwood. Even Lyon sounded shocked on SEN this morning, however, the more I think about it the more that I am warming to the idea. He was involved in a dramatic rise of that other club and I really crave getting back to where we were in 1964. Very professional once again MFC and despite some of the whip lash, Collingwood would not have been big enough for both of them. Well done Melbourne, Go Dee's.......................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
