Just goes to show that they are all pretty poor kicks when shooting for goal. I always thought that Shuey was a crack shot and I think Gus has deteriorated since 2018

Although we lead for all but ten minutes of the game we never really turned it on all night and we had at least eight players that just weren’t up for the fight. Our game plan depends on every player playing their part and when they don’t we look poor/ dumb and our kicking for goal is just so poor that is two of our last three games where it has cost us six premiership points. I thought that umps were poor again, our goal kicking was very poor again and our bottom eight players were very ordinary.

6 - Clarry 5 - Tracc 4 - Fritsch 3 - Salem 2 - Max 1 - Petty Without Max we lose that game but a number of our players well down on form in fact to many to mention.

Very hard to watch between our strange footy and the Magoos stranger no decisions we are keeping them in the game.!!!!!’nn

I think that it’s time for another change at the top, time for Gil to hand over to someone anyone that understands Aussie Rules football. vFL is borderline shambles, so many rule changes that the Magoos heads are spinning. We need some reality injected into the AFL ASAP.

At this point in time, the situation can change quickly, take Harrison Petty for example just takes a bit of bad luck for Tomlinson and he stepped up and keeps on improving.

I just watched the replay again and the Fox commentary team after the game led by Ed with Leigh Montagna and Kingy was well worth a watch, showed the Song, Tracc brilliance and then a really good interview with Max. They showed Max respect and he was excellent. A great leader.

Just shows how differently people see the game, I think those of us who hunger for a strong structure and hate seeing the enemy taking intercept marks in front of our goals loved his effect on the game whereas those that expect Ben to win the game off his boot thought that he was poor.!!!!

Melbourne are now very comfortable playing on the Big Stage under lights even when playing away in front of a hostile football illiterate crowd. We ignored the fact that Port were getting away with throwing the ball in the air when tackled and continually ran them to ground and soaked up their surge. What a really great team effort, agree Petty had a very impressive break out game, you can now see that May, Lever & Co trust him to do his role. Tracc , Oliver, Gawn, Kozzie, Salem and TMack back to their very best, everyone played their role and BBB straightened us up and did what a good big intelligent forward does. I was very content with this win and never really felt stressed as we were on from the first bounce, you would have to love our toughness, effort and team first effort. Great Win DEES.!!!!

I really dislike the way Brayshaw continually barracks for our opposition.

Agree strongly on all points deever, umps tried to influence but we were having non of it.

4:35 time slot not bad means the lights at the Gee will be on from the get go will be just like a night game but with a much earlier finish. Like it.
