A bit off line but I just watched the Sunday Footy Show to watch our Review Votes, etc. nothing, zero, Zilch. Fortunately we were out to brunch so could fast forward through the replay but very disappointed, not happy Jan.!!!

I tried to watch it but couldn’t work out who was interrupting who. You can’t mention any thing Collingwood or Richmond on the show and at times they are quite shameless. However they all have the ability to sound reasonable, intelligent and informative when discussing everyone else’s teams.!!

I don’t care who kicks them or who saves them just get it done Dees, show them that we are the best.!!!!

Apart from Max this is one of the best balanced teams we have put out on the park this year. Are they ready to go, I bloody hope so.✅✅

Whatever the outcome I doubt that LJ will stab us in the back if he decides to go he will want MFC to be fairly compensated. I am hopeful that he will stay but he is young and who knows what his drivers are???

No mention of Daw??

I have been searching through injury reports and cannot find any useful info on Majak Daw apart from a number of posters asserting that he is injured. If this is the case what is the injury and how long is he unavailable?? Given that he is our backup ruckman that should provide coverage for Max / LJ I am a bit annoyed that the club have not provided some explanation for his unavailability. The info provided on DL is confusing at best and suggestions that Majak is not up to playing AFL makes me wonder where the truth lies. KC can you provide any info to support or refute Majak’s fitness and wellbeing as we could really use his Presence over the next 4-6 weeks.

Agree Jontee we have neglected young talls in the last couple of drafts and hung onto a couple of older talls that are not stepping up when we need them. A couple of the young talls from Casey are playing better footy than Daw and Brown. We need another 198 and a 204cm player on the list, they are out there. Ps( very confident that JVR will be a vg player but not tall enough for ruck duties).

As you have pointed out DD half our top 22 have dropped off in 2022 and you can’t win games with half the side MIA coupled with an awful run of injuries mainly down back. Last year our bottom 8-10 players were playing better than the opposition bottom 8-10 which was getting us over the line. So we need an incremental improvement from those bottom 8-10 players and we need it now. Dunstan’s disposal isn’t great but he is playing better than 8 of our best 22 so should be in the side. Those stats are very damning.!!!

Don’t change the plan spice it up a bit be more daring and utilise quicker ball movement. Target two of their players and see how they cope being battered every time they touch the ball. Follow JVs example, protect your teammates block shepherd hurt the opposition legally. Let’s see what happens, if they don’t step up rotate them out.!!!

You are absolutely correct SWYL it’s backs to the walls now that we have lost the skipper and Turner out for four. We need to get Weid, Daw and Steven May into the side and use Thommo as the Medical sub. We need to get bigger, tougher and harder. We saw that our top 6 players last week were our highest ranking 6 for 2022, now need Sparrow, Kozzie, Spargs, ANB, Langdon and Salem up to their best. Also Rivers needs to come back into the side for his run and carry. This is action stations if you want to wear the Red and Blue.!!!

Ha ha I still have a Bottle of Shane Woewodin Brownlow Shiraz in the cupboard not sure it is still drinkable either.!!

I think that you are missing the point VC it was an Essendon / Collingwood game where the Booing came from, Caro was wrong but she still got in a cheap shot at us again an admission that she was wrong may help.!!
