Thanks Willy I appreciate those stats I imagine that all tallish recruits are put on specialist diets and a rigorous strengthening regime to help them get the most out of their opportunities. It will be interesting to see how Jefferson, Adams, Verral and Kyah progress over the next 12-18 months.!!

Welcome to the Dees Jed Adam’s, to me Adams appears a bit more mature than MJ and he mentioned that he had played ruck/forward as well. Looks like a great pickup by the recruiters. Feeling much better about the composition of our list now, just like another young ruck then go hard at the mids, flankers next year.

I wouldn’t put a limit on him but this year JVR had Mitch Brown and Weid sharing the forward line with him, I hope that we target another ruck/forward to share the load up forward with MJ at Casey.!!

Ha ha 6’5” to me feels taller than 195cm.!!

He kicked 7 against WA for Victoria, so he is no faint heart and he is to good looking to be compared with Hipwood. He isn’t Cadman who went No.1 but he is now ours and deserves some positivity and reassurance that he has been picked up because he is good enough and we wish him all the best.!!

Personally I am expecting to see Jefferson breaking into the team sometime in 2024 after two pre-seasons and building into a 6’5” 94-96kg strong marking straight kicking forward to support JVR. However that will depend on TMac and BBB’s ability to keep him out of the side. Loved the Jefferson family celebrations that he was coming to Dees, possibly helped by WCE not calling out his name.!!!

Agree DS Kevin Sheehan has listed a lot of talls in this years Draft, I’m sure JT and Co will be all over it. There is hopefully one with our name on it.!!
