  1. Congratulations James Jordon, I, like many on here look forward to watching you out on the Gee tomorrow afternoon (Yayyy), what we really need at the Dee's is to continually improve our bottom 8 players as that has been the anchor holding us back, so James play your role and be one of those players that make us a better Team. Give it your all JJ.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. The Key ingredient that Mark Williams brings in spades is "Belief", he makes players believe that they are better than they think they are, we now have enough talent to go around, what we have lacked is cohesion and belief, fix one and you have the other. He makes you feel like running out and kicking a goal.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. I would feel happier to review this after a couple of years time when we get to see the full benefit of May & Lever together with some continuity as the team hit's their straps, no doubt these two make us a much better side but we need a number of players to lift to their level for us to get the max out of them both.
  4. Thanks Picket, greatly appreciated and thanks for the fond memories of 1987 a year that should have been and nothing worse than seeing a "Joe Blake" up close and personal really gets the adrenalin pumping...!!!!!!!
  5. Thanks Picket another great thought provoking and informative report, maybe the pressure was slightly lower to allow our boys to get over the pummeling that they received at the hands of the Doggies, they were blistering. I sure hope that Petty is right to go Round 1 so that Thomlinson can go back to his wing role. PS( What is wrong with Mitch Brown?) We can't take a trick.!!!!
  6. He still has 10 days to prove his fitness and he is as tough as they come, particularly since he pulled on the Red & Blue, Good Luck Steven..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Congratulations Majak Daw, keep working hard Majak and feel proud when you pull on the Red and Blue jumper it is always great when you get a second chance at the top. Who knows you and BB could end up being a big part of the Spine of a a very successful club, so give it your all and who knows. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. Welcome aboard Deakyn Smith, keep working hard and stay fit young man, there are a number of spots that will open up as the season rolls on, if you are good enough. So good luck and make the most of your opportunities at the mighty Dee's !!!!!.
  9. 6- May 5- Lever 4 - ANB 3- Fritsch 2 - Langdon 1 - Gawn
  10. Break ups can take a long time to sort through very emotional and soul destroying particularly when children are involved and whether who is pushing for the split, all the If's, But's and Maybe's a real mine field.
  11. Well said TC I couldn't agree more Picket that Report was scintillating and precise.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. To be brutally honest I cannot think of 32 Players that are better than Clarry, Clayton Oliver please make Robbo eat his words.!!!!!!!!!
  13. Well done Max thanks for showing the faith, a true Champion and great Captain for the mighty Dee's, a Dee for Life.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. Thanks LH for the quick update still a few to lock in but much improved.
  15. Well done Jake showing your leadership skills when it is needed most, hopefully will encourage a couple of our young and upcoming stars to follow suit, we need you all on board and focused for our next Premiership run. Thanks Jake.!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. We burnt a lot of Journo's in the last two years so they have gone off us just when they should have got on us, in my humble opinion, if this doesn't rankle our players I will be surprised lots for the coaches to use. Still tipping top 4 finish.
  17. Kye brings flexibility and depth, we now have the talls and shorts pretty well covered, his marking and kicking look up to scratch. Would be nice if it had been posted on the MFC website first..??
  18. Sorry TT I was only referring to those that I have watched in the Red & Blue. Judd was a Gunn.
  19. Thanks Picket for another great training report sounds like everyone is on the same page and relishing the pace and pressure of these new drills.
  20. Ronald Dale Barrasi - The Man, The Champion, The Legend. Best of the Best, congratulations Ron. !!!
  21. That is truly a bitter pill for young Aaron to swallow, how devastated must he feel, he can't take a trick.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  22. True but he had a bit more silk around him from day 1.?
  23. I agree with everyone on here Clayton Oliver showed star quality from day one, he just keeps getting better with each game. I have followed the Dee's for 60 odd years and cannot remember a better first 100 games than Clarry. He has another level in him and as we add more quality around him he will show the footy world why we Dee supporters love him so much.!!!!!!!!!!!!
  24. That was a great first up game and after reading all the reviews and then watching the replay of the 7 quarters of football I must admit that I liked what I saw, every one chipped in and gave it their all, I was impressed with the way that we kept pegging the Tiges back and made them earn their kicks. We still have a way to go but I am now feeling even more bullish about 2021 with the improvement of our year 2 and year 3 players as they showed more glimpses of what they are capable of, not to mention our year one trio as well. We still kicked to the Tiges advantage to much and they got away with a lot of illegal blocks and pushes in our forward line but that's what top sides get away with, we now have that very strong core of top players who will be helped and supported by a group of young quality players eagerly waiting to fill any holes that may appear in our top 22 - 26 players. Go Dee's!!!!!!!!!!!
