Good to see Sparrow, Riv, McVee and Bowey all strong in the contest, felt a bit sorry for Disco would have preferred it if Petty was standing beside him and Harmes was good when he came on. Was surprised that Fritta missed three on the trot very unusual for our No.31 But got the 4 points and we can move onto the Hawks next week. As Chaplin pointed out 3 games in 12 days that’s getting a bit ridiculous.!!!!

I agree that 13 guarantees top 8 but thinking 16 gets us top 4 and barring serious injuries we have the list to achieve 16+ wins. Go Dees.!!!

And Harmes our Midfield is looking a bit hollow without Dunstan, a Harmes type of big mid and Munro leading the tackle count. This is leaving a lot of the heavy lifting to to few and another reason why we have to go Mid, Mid, Tall, Mid at the next draft.!!

I was pleasantly impressed by Andrew Dillons Resume, he is football through and through as was his father, mother and family, he pulled his boots on as five yo like a lot of other Australian kids. Has 23 years experience at AFL House, is inclusive mentioning all the people in his team and speaks with confidence and credo he is also well supported by his family and friends and as GTG pointed out he will hit the road running.!!!

What a wonderful day is the 1st of May 2023, I am feeling almost light headed, we have all been hoping for this outcome and dreading the opposite outcome. Monday night was a hard tough slog and we finally over tun the Tiges in front of 84k people. Last night after a five day break it was a demolition derby driven by Tracc, Clarry, Gus, Chandler, Kozzie, Fritta, Grundy, Max, Steven and all members of the team. My pulse remained steady even more relaxed than the trip in and out to the G with 6 adults and grandson crammed into the Everest. The only disappointment was the size of the crowd 29k which meant a whole lot of Dee supporters missed out on the Drubbing first hand. Dees were switched on from first bounce until 25 minute mark of the final quarter and Kade Chandler showed us that he is the real deal and he also won the 65” TVfrom Ch7. The trip home was a happy one as well. Well played Dees.!!!!
