  1. Many of us have been doubters......some very bad calls in there. Good on ya big Ruski for 100 games for the red and blue. 2008 more JAMAR - another 2 years? How much better is Paul Johnson than Mark Jamar? Jamar not AFL standard Is Jamar the new Nicho ??
  2. Good work Big fella, been a couple of big years for him, and hopefully we can get him through a few more........ then put him to stud.
  3. Good work DeeZee glad for some positive footy talk. So more reasons to be happy A dominating performance at Casey with Blease, Cook and Nicholson in the bests and Ricky bobby and Bate getting majors Also there where moments against the suns where our forward press was working well (albeit against kids) and directly forced turn overs which we ended up hitting the post! Some sublime taps on the weekend from Jamar to Maloney and co Jamar and to a lesser extent Martin big presence in the forward line Trengove playing his best game for the red and blue And the fact we are into the 8 for the first time since the finals in 2006
  4. good call Jordie, Trengove was great today. Loads of important touches and should of ended up with more goals. Kid is going to get better and better..
  5. Well done jordie, Great report. Some really pleasing comments in there.
  6. Great to see Cook and Blease in the best And Ricky Bobby and Bate kicking sausage rolls. Good to see there is loads of pressure to get a game for the read and blue
  7. Just played his best game for Casey (From KC report) Well done kid.
  8. The Hacks at the Hun would like to thank you all for all the material they need to blow up this ridiculous comparison into a feature down the track. Nutbean - sorry to say this but Stephanie is a C-grader (I have not seen here finger-paint but I will back my assertion with no fact but loads of vitriol)
  9. This is more eveidence the hacks at the Hun read Demonland to get their stories.
  10. This kid is a Gem. I reckon we might have done very well in the 2009 draft. He to and gotta love the smile on his dial
  11. Could the juice be the power forward we are looking for? I bet he would like to have a go on K Hunt next week......actually i bet most of the Melbourne forward line would like to line up against the kids and mercenaries of the Suns. Especially that C brown might be out for a few weeks for his sins today
  12. Good work KC, Thanks for the updates Juice with 6! looking forward to your report
  13. Good to see Davis and Howe back in the Magoos. I am really hoping Addam Maric bounces back with a BOG Nice alsoe see Valenti running around at port. I would love to hear how he been travelling. I still have a soft spot for the little man.
  14. Great post Bhima. Agree with your analysis. Good to see some logical thinking in here I would love to see not only the percentage result but absolute amounts. For example it is possible for a team to have a low % of transition attack but due to the weight of goals they kick the may be pretty damn good at it. Again, top stuff, keep up the great work Bhima
  15. VFL player assessmentsare up Some nice news there. Gys looks the Bis. Newton could of kicked a big bag. Evans sounds pretty solid and the Fitz in the magoos kicked 1.4 in a half with 12 touches. Love to see him in the first showing some leg speed. But my favorite report was Wonna. Looks like he is going allright. Might give use a little spark and some more forward pressure.
  16. I still can rememebr Brian Wilsons salute to the Members when he kick 5 for the saints agaist us. I still love him for it!!
  17. Good post RR. I have read too many overly emotive posts. Good to see someone spell it out. The gospel from Demon HQ is about managing expectations. Scott west wrote about it, Todd Viney wrote about it, Bailey has talked about it. Supporters expectations are high because we all know of our potential. But the reality that Rhino has articulated should not be forgotten. It was a bad performance, it is how we bounce back and learn from it that counts. Keep the faith
  18. time for Maric to come on and show something
  19. Catch 22 here. I reckon pace and speed as the sub would be handy in the last. Hawks are a little slow and were opened up by the crows in the last half with good ball movement and loads of run. But an extra tall with a possible underdone Frawley might also be a good move. We won the sub last week with Ricky Bobby having an impact compared to the swans ruckman (name escapes me right now) hopefully Dean plays his cards well and is not forced to it early Who you reckon will get jurrah? Gibson??
  20. I hope this is a very bad April fools gag
  21. For mine Col G to Buddy (Has the speed and match fitness) Frawley to Roughie (Can run off and provide drive) Rivers to Hale Bartrum to Rioli In the Guts Bail to Burgoyne Jones run with Mitchell and the battle of the speed demons Bennell on Savage, should be good to watch. If hodge plays half back maybe Dunn to make him accountable Im hoping for a big game from Col S this week. I dont think the Hawks backline match up well with us on paper. Im Sure Bruce has been giving the angry dwarf inside info on our team. Hopefully Rob Campbell has some usefull infomation on the way the Hawks set up esp around stoppages. Im sure Todd Viney time at the hawks might also provide some usefull info. I reckon run in the legs in the second half may win it for us Go dees How do you guys (nd girls) see how we best line up? Who do you think they will play on Jurrah, Green, Watts and co in our forward line? Who is their run with on Davey? (Chance?)
  22. I reckon Rob Campbell knowledge of the hawks rucks/center square set up will be more than valuable this week.
  23. From what I saw on the weekend, The Hawks were out run in the second half and I reckon they are a tad slow. I reckon if we can stick with them for the first half and then put the pedal down after half time by switching and run and carry be might be able to open them up. I thought our fitness was pretty good last week as we seemed to get into each quarter in the latter part (except the final). Big game in the guts, Beamer and co have to get their hands on it more than Sam Mitchell and co. Jamar/Stef were awesome last week and hopefully we can get some great taps to advantage like in that last quarter. I reckon we have some chance but recent history is not on our side.
  24. I have a joke going that rather than talking to other coaches, when he puts on the headphones he is listening to avant-garde Jazz or obscure Scandinavian rock n roll or maybe one of those books on tape. I know it is very much like the STIG but.....but some say that on really warm days, he sheds his skin like a snake, and that for some reason, he is allergic to Richmond supporters... all we know is, he is called bails. Edit - Spelling
  25. I hate to say but my money is on heppell to will win this week as there seems to be a bomber love fest going on.
