  1. I have to admit that I havent read the whole thread so this may be covered. I dont see the obssession on here about the quick fix (in regards to the mini draft). I really think Tim H should hold onto those picks we recived from Scully and use them next year or so. From all reports the next year draft is looking to be a great one and to have 3 picks in the first round (one being Viney) would put us in a very strong postition. The other option is our trading capability will increase next year without the GWS having all the cards and other clubs salivating on the fresh bunch of kids. Every years there is a new Judd, Hird, Buckley etc. lets us be patient and play our aces when they count. Go dees
  2. Striaght bat, knocked back the under arms he was given.
  3. Tim H on AFL Radio now
  4. Howe took the mark - geishen They didn't show the blease where got the handball off (but Motlop got his kick in) or the garland foot tap.....
  5. Good work there High Tower, Good to see some footy talk on here. Agree with your match ups. However, I like Bartam on rioli but I doubt he will be recalled. To win we need to take the game on (Like we did in that second quarter last time we played), keep our kicking efficieny over 75%, need to be very clean coming out of defence and dont get bamboozeled by the forward pressure. Hopefully Strauss and Tapscotts can use their kicking to good effect. Chippa needs a huge game and smashes Buddy (if he does i reckon might put his name up in front of the AA selectors) GO YOU DEMONS
  6. Mid way through the third 10 touches 4 tackles 1.1 goals 55 dream team Do pretty well. J patton has kicked 3.1
  7. Getting some early touches today follow here
  8. What a player, Dodgy knees, Great fist, so many desperate 1% acts of pure courage and a great bristly Tash. Great bloke and a great loss
  9. One year on from the move to AAMI park. One year of work on lifting those weights One year worth of farting in those recovery pools Has it made a difference? In my opinion, yes. Firstly the team seems to have a place to hang out, play pool and socialise with each other. Good for team bonding and all that. Also trainalohics eg jones/skull etc have now a home away from home From all reports the coaches and the players love the new locations. So one year on......can you see the improvement?
  10. Ricky the tackle machine Good on you dee TV for putting this together
  11. I reckon LJ looks better when Aussie or Davey is near him
  12. Highlights here Strauss kick looks like a 3 iron. Max Gawn looks big and has good hands (not sure about the kicking backwards) Scully is Scully Howe impressive grabs/skills Blease has some speed
  13. Need to hear some positives from Casey Blease and Scully are playing in the same side for the first time, lets hope the scully can extract the pill and put it out in front of Blease to put on his afterburners..... That is what I want to hear.
  14. Big night for the dees. Give them hell.
  15. I have been thinking latly that judd does major damage in the last quarter when his Tag cant run with him any longer. Might be good to use our sub to pinch hit in the last quarter with a hard tag on Judd to negate any influence. However since Dan N said he might be the sub (see MFC webiste) might be to much to ask the young man. But if Judd is leg sore he night be hiding in the forward pocket I reckon Barts with get the gig.
  16. for the Greatest AFL Indigenous marks Good to see loads of Red and Blue in the clips. Sampi had way to much help rom Yze!

  18. Nope, It was this one, It seems to work fine on my screen Hair....
  19. Big Milestone for the Jones boy this week. I first saw him at Sandy game in Tassie v the Devils, where he racked up the possessions, broke tackles and was very solid (Hughes also kicked 5 that day). There was loads of excitement on this site regarding his first game. Especially after he was given the number 2 jumper. For some reason I was in Melbourne of the week of his first game. Standing proudly I yelled "Go number 2" as I was sitting in the members as he came off the bench (I couldn’t help myself, I think I also turned to my brother and said...."Is that Robbie" to the audible groan of the grumpy demon faithful behind). Yze kicked 5 that day as we crushed the doggies. Jones got 17 touches that day and laid a couple of hard tackles. His "break out" game came a few weeks later with 25 touches and 2 brandlow votes. He even played a couple of finals that year. It is easy to forget that Nathan is 23 years old. I have got a lot of time for the boy. His head is in the right place. He puts in 100% every time. He is the kind of guy you want around the club, likeable, hard working, diligent and he loves the club. He is also pretty good on the run in front of the sticks. Good on you Nathan Jones, great 100 games.
  20. Feeling very hollow about the AFL and this decision. I know it is sad but I have been wondering what the result would be like if this was a collingwood player or a suns player. Or even a player with a chance of a charlie.... Sorry thats was petty. But the whole thing stinks. Stick it to the AFL this week demons and rip those kangas apart
  21. I wanna hear some real passion in the song today...... scream it out loud......"WHATTA WE SING" Great effort today, many questions this week in the media and internal..... and they stood up GO DEMONS p.s. I am kinda drunk right now
