Pot calling the kettle black..I wasn't pot shotting you or putting you down Saty if it came across that way but players will not exactly be honest with you. Your just a supporter and thats it.

Of Course they are going to tell you they don't read the newspaper or sports article.. its the oldest trick in the book. Players aren't just going to come ojt and tell you yeah I read demonland and bigfooty etc. All players will once in their careers look themselves up on the Internet and read what supporters say. I have two cousins who are currently playing in the AFL. I talked about this issue a while ago to one of them and how they delt with it. He did mention all players in the club have seen themselves cop their wack on internet forum etc.. they will always say the old cliché dont read newspapers and all that but players do Saty. He use to cop it on Bigfooty and supporter forums. He was a wipping boy. It does hurt seeing comments how [censored] you are or lazy when they know they trying their guts out. Some players handle it perfectly and some really struggle with it. Dont be surprised majority of our players have actually scrolled on demonland.

I can see where Machsy is coming from. AFL player are reminded and warned constantly NOT to browse supporter forums because of the rubbish that gets written about players. This is a fact. The AFL are trying to drum this into club and then into the players. So for Saty to say there are 30 pages of demonland nervousness about Hogan, he would know log on this website and see all the pressure thats written about him. Sure most of it is pretty positive But for someone like Jimmy Toumpas who knows about Demonland because Saty mentioned it to him. He would log on only to see most of you people bagging and saying what a dud player for pick 4, should have taken Wines, Picket Fence getting stuck into him etc.. He sees half of this and his confidence is already hit and it plays on his mind that supporters think he is soft. It has a psychological effect on him and most time its why most young players struggle of the metality side of the game. Now Saty might say that the players would not read this but when he mentions Demonland to players they will take notice and have a look. They will even say they dont read but they do. Players do really wanna know what supporters think of them. Its something very hard to resist as a player.

Most players every week go on light duties. Its all about managing the load on the bodies and if you have a bit of soreness its basically straight to light duties. So dont stress about player being on the sidelines doing light stuff its all part managing load work.

I think Frawley has been brilliant this year and still can't understand why people want him traded? Once Hogan comes back in Frawley and again strengthens our already strong backline. Dunn would take third man and even be more dangerous. He still has a good 7 years left of footy.

Love Dunstall as a commentator. Unlike others he knows what he is talking about. I use to love his sprays on after the bounce about players dribbling for goals. Funniest things I have seen. Him and spud Frawley are good to watch. Anyone have youtube clips on Dunstall spray?
