  1. I am a regular music concert attendee and I have never one ever heard or seen a football match played being played in between songs. Bizarre comparison.
  2. Spoiler alert.. sound is dodgy AF.
  3. Did mention something about having issues with the tissue injuries his toe or something along those lines.
  4. Did anyone hear Brody Mihocek on triple M rush hour yesterday? Said he is still battling a toe injury and its looking likely that he will have to continue to manage it throughout the season.
  5. Dang, she has deleted all things kozzie off social media and doesnt even follow him anymore. I hope they are both okay. Always a hard situation when there is children involved.
  6. Melbourne Footy Club care factor..
  7. Fritta all good to go as confirmed by King. Wasn't even his own dogs that bit him....
  8. Yeah that was ****house on Watson. Worry about your grub of a club Timmy that havent made finals since the stone age.
  9. Culley did his ACL 3 years ago.. Gawn has done two ACL's over his career and hasnt stopped him from being one of the all time greats. He'll be fine.
  10. Found that interview really insightful and just straight forward. He is very articulate and just seems he has finally released the shackles off not only the players but club staff as well. I love the part where he admitted with honesty that he doesn't know how long he will stick with his mantra of giving too much licence to the players especially if the result aren't being rewarded. Complete breath of fresh air compared to the absolute jargon and snoozefest we're all use too with Goody's pressers.
  11. You're wrong.
  12. So if that one player was Max Gawn then he totally misses the rest of the finals series.. and you're okay with?
  13. Flanders [censored] himself in that defensive inside 50.. eek. One thing I have learnt so far watching this game is applying huge amount of pressure to the saints and they crumble easily.
  14. No he wouldn't because he barely plays midfield anymore. Spends about 80% up forward now days. Dangerfield does his best work as a marking tall now with the occasional bursts in the midfield.
  15. I saw it completely the opposite. He's getting positive reviews because the media want a feel good story out of him on top of the Petracca performance. It was all the Fox commentators were talking about and hoping for on the pre game telecast. It was stock standard Oliver game in terms of racking up a heap of handballs in close and leave it to the rest. Other then that I saw nothing to suggest that his performance any different to what he dished up last year. Metres gain is a stat that coaches froth over in today's game in terms of ability to win the footy and then driving your legs to carry the footy as well or gain territory. Oliver's was low and it was noticeable. His performance was very Tom Mitchell like in that regardless, he is will always rack up 25 each game but have no hurt factor. I never once saw the Oliver of old in terms of bursting out of stoppages or driving his legs around stoppages. Footy is going to about transitioning and gaining as much territory as you can I look at Jai Newcombe game yesterday and both he and Oliver are exactly the same players and yet had such a significant influence because he was trying to burst through and link up in transitioning snd territory. Newcombes 574 metres gain was certainly more noticeable just like it was for Petracca the other night. For another comparison, Patrick Cripps was another who had low metres gain (186) because they're very in and under and struggle with transition. To finish off, I thought Stringer, Callaghan, and Riccardi were far more influential then Oliver. I thought it was one of Stringers best games in a long time as he rose to the occasion when they were challenged and to have 9 scoring shots in itself is pretty impressive. Kicking 5.4 is a great return for him. He looked fit and dynamic. Him and Hogan this year is going to be scary. But of course the media would prefer the feel good story of Oliver's performance and them rating his 17 handball and 9 kicks performance as BOG ahead of Stringers proves exactly that point.
  16. No, he didnt "nominate us" Red.. People on here got sucked in by a random poster during trade period that was leading everyone in this forum to believe so. Funny how he hasnt posted since then.. #troll
  17. Well there is a 29 page 'Media Madness' Thread still floating around on here from last year.. So yes, I would suggest there are many folks on here who are still pretty sensitive to what gets said in the media going off that thread.
  18. When you say represent, is that just you wanting them literally standing there witn their hands in their pockets watching a meaningless practise game with no MFC listed players?? Is that really what you're whinging about?
  19. Haha yeah nah Pickett.. You have got your bias lense on with this one once again. He played the stock standard 2024-2025 Oliver game of 17 handballs and just the 9 kicks to go along with just the 274 metres gain meaning he he barely drove his legs to burst out of stoppages or get on the outside for transition. According to AFL ratings was the 5th rated Giants so not even close to BOG. The game has moved past contest and all about transitioning and ball movement. Saw none of that. The long bombs to contest was still there so nothing has changed. At least we saw a completely different Petracca the other night being so dynamic where as Oliver just did his normal thing which in all honesty he didnt hurt the opposition that much.
