  1. Yeah we've interviewed Berry for sure. I don't have too much of an update on how much of an interest we have in him. The two bushie boys I know we've spoken to a fair bit since their season ended are Josh Murphy, Ben Kennedy and Ollie Warburton.
  2. Maybe, but I genuinely believe that we actually could use pick 9 on him. In terms of talent there is actually not much of a difference between him and the talent around the pick 8-13 mark. In fact, I'm surprised he's not rated that highly based on his numbers and form this year.
  3. Looking forward to keeping a close eye on Wes Walley.
  4. Laughable. Happy to highlight the razzy dazzy good bits Hannaford does but refuses to do so for Smith who has been doing this [censored] on a consistent level week to week, year after to year. Hannaford is a 20-30 draft propsect. Picking him at 9 would be one of the all time biggest draft blunders ever. Fancy using a top 10 pick of a kid that is completely unfit and out of shape. And don't use Oliver as an example. Oliver was putting up ridiculous numbers week by week as noted by winning the Morrish medal. Hannaford plays one or two good games this year and he's an automatic top 10 selection in your view.. 😅
  5. I do laugh that for every single one of your critic of Jagga who is a genuine top 3 propsect on talent, you're then more then happy to then select Ollie Hannaford at pick 9 which is a comedy show in itself. Hannaford at 9 would be just a bigger draft blunder as Barry Prendergast selecting Gysberts at pick 11.
  6. Certainly been a lot of talk of late that Smith could be our pick. With Jason Taylor confirming that we'll be drafting mids in the draft, a Smith/Allan/Langford/Smillie or even Haynes combo would be a huge win for us.
  7. He was dropped to Casey at the back end of the year on top of injuries to Oliver and Petracca and midfield depth at an almighty low. Less focus on leadership and more focus on actually getting a kick. Happily trade him next year if he's still picking up 12-15 touches a game and having zero influence like he did this year.
  8. I'm still a bit sceptical with Green but I certainly acknowledged that I feel he has been really proactive and especially with his communication of late which I respect and something Roffey clearly lacked. As members, it's good to be informed every now and then on what's happening around the club.
  9. No he wasn't. Jennings joined the Dees at the start of 2016.
  10. Draper is like Joel Selwood/Jack Viney to me. Absolute animal that will do whatever he can to win a contest and beat his opponent. Love his intensity around the ball. Him being mentored by Viney would be the dream scenario. I would be genuinely shocked if Adelaide passed him by and even more shocked if he slipped right through us.
  11. We haven't nominated him as a father son as of yet. I highly doubt we will select him this year because he's form hasn't been up to the level that is worth being drafted. My inkling is he may suit up for Oakleigh Chargers next year as an overage player.
  12. I agree. I am not all that enamoured with Taura to be honest and pick 5 is a ridiculous reach for an intercept 3rd tall intercept defender who's a poor kick of the footy. I do love his competitiveness though. Even if it's not Smillie at 5, to me it's gotta be a elite young midfielder whether that's Langford, Draper or Smith.
  13. I think Carlton also love Draper big time.
  14. I follow this guy closely and enjoy his draft content. Well worth the follow.
  15. Melbourne won't be moving up or down the draft order. They'll stay as it is.
  16. From the review. Sam Radford will work alongside Nathan as midfield coach. Together, they aim to maximise our current midfield group’s strengths while integrating new talent in the midfield mix. Mids with our first two picks?
  17. Nah I like him mate.. he's an absolute beauty! Do you think 9 is too much of a reach? Any inkling if we have said anything to him around our 2nd pick?
  18. Would not mind it one bit if we took him with 9. Enormous upside in terms that he could genuinely explode in the next couple of years with his sheer power and strength. Probably similar to Chard Warner who was a 3rd round draft pick. It's such a jason Taylor thing to do to reach for a particular player they like.
  19. Trade at the end of next year please.
  20. Can't knock Greens communication level of recent.. Doing okay so far in my opinion.
