We would have taken Lewis Taylor. Fact is that if Salem been taken before our pick we would have taken Taylor hands down. While Taylor will be a gun we needed Bernie Vince impact straight away. Put it this way we wouldn't have won on the weekend without Vince. At the time we needed midfield class and experience and thas what Bernie bring. This alone tells you that Jason Taylor has an eye for serious talent. The fact that he rated him a top 10 pick and he lasted till 28 shows that either Salem or Taylor would have been a good pick, Im calling it also but I think Jason Taylor will be the next Stephen Wells.

Craig bird would be a good target.

I think a big key forward through the draft and maybe another small quick small forward and I think we should be set. Actually anoher defender would be handy.

Just by watching him aswell he looks to have put on a fair bit of weight since the draft too which is handy. One thing i never knew he had was that acceleration from the contest. He gets it and just sprints off away from the packs and hits a target 45m up. Amazing maturity for someone so young. And to think experts believe the other fella we drafted is just as good .. Wowee we are going to have some fun in the next couple of years!

Need to re sign Gawn up asap. Someone on here last week mentioned he turned down a offer from us to see if he could get more game time. Well in my opinion he has taken over as number 1 ruck for us and i now see him as a very important member of this footy side.

Bontempelli has been overated this year. He will be a good player in the future but Lewis Taylor has continued with his good form. Has 30 plus disposals on the weekend.
