  1. His track record of first rounders isn't much chop.
  2. Good to see someone with a bit of credible inside sources instead of the 'My golf buddy said this so it means it true'' that says we are locked in at Lever or McCartin and no one else.
  3. Last year this time around we were all certain we had Nathan Freeman on board. A week to go till the draft and word came we had cooled on him and were set to pick Salem. I have said before, no one is locked in at pick 2 or 3 until basically the last 48 hours to go. Alot of water to flow under the bridge.
  4. And we'd have a jackpot with Petracca and Brayshaw...Just our luck.
  5. Lack of pace a concern??His pace is not an issue. Even look at his highlights his agility is actually quite good. Nathan Fyfe, Scott Pendlebury, David Mundy. 3 tall midfielders who are actually quite slow by foot. Does that effect them? Lever in fact looks to be a lot quicker than those blokes.
  6. Wow good stuff. Some of your mail recently has been absolutely spot on. Obviously will be a big watch this year for father son?
  7. Your record in trade period wasn't that much flash I believe.I still highly doubtful that the club has already nominated a player for pick 3. We are still three weeks away from the draft. We have all seen in the past that the couple of days beforehand gets pretty hectic with clubs changing player options and making a late bid on players. Lever or McCartin are definitely not a certain for pick 3. Simple.
  8. Just saw a comment on Facebook that a guy works with Jake Levers cousin and he said that apparently Roosy has already been around to his house 5 times to have dinner with them.
  9. Yep. he broke the Trengove news story about the tigers trade. Don't see any issue with him.
  10. No Ox wanted to be there but couldn't make it.He passed on his wishes to ND and told him that he (ox) said gday to him. Pretty sure I saw it on Jeff whites facebook because someone shared it.
  11. Well im seriously torn now.. McCartin or Lever either way I'll be happy. It's really hard not to get seriously excited about Lever though. His character and drive is very very impressive. Screams of Luke Hodge all over.
  12. Rivers was there.Saw this a week ago and i did choke up a little bit. All great blokes who brought some amazibg memories back in the late 90s early to mid 2000s. But jee hasn't jeff white silverfoxed a fair bit. All looking good and awsome to see them supporting a great mate and also a big smile on ND face. Absolutely gold.
  13. Hahah is this thread for real!? The murray river along Echuca is one of the best fishing and swimming spots you could go to. Also known for southern 80. No harm in jumping into a river that 200 people do every year. Good on em I say! Nothing like experiencing a bit of country life for some of these city lads.
  14. Newton probably wont be at training for another week or so. Remember his team obviously played off in the Prelim meaning he gets an extra couple of weeks rest.
  15. As much as its good to see the likes of Howe and Viney up gotta remember that Jones Bail and Cross didn't run today. And also Dan Nicholson who is normally top 2 every year.
  16. Carlton in 2003 I think absolutely ballistic in getting heap of rejects from other clubs.
  17. No by the time we are in our premeirship hopefully McCartin and Hogan will be right to.
  18. Roughy and buddy last year?Tom Hawkins and Cam Mooney Nick Reiwoldt and Kozi Cloke and Dawes
  19. Good appointment indeed. Obviously Roosy rates his leadership qaulities still. Wouldn't be surprised if in two years time he becomes a development coach for us like Brad Miller this year.
  20. Hopefully a Nick Mellington.Big inside 188cm midfielder who is already 87kg. Will be ready to go come round 1
  21. Err Roughead 193cm David Hale 201cm And buddy the last couple of years at 196cm aswell.Pretty sure you do need big haulking forwards come finals time. No brainer.
