  1. The next Jayden Hunt. Has speed to burn and his leap is very impressive.
  2. I wonder if the Dees will bite the bullet and pick him in the National draft knowing that he might be gone before the rookie draft.
  3. They are drug cheats in my eyes. [censored] Essendon..
  4. Lol he was ordinary wasn't he.. Came in as a bargain recruit after a impressive career at Essendon only to spud it up with us.
  5. They are all rookie elevation picks mate.
  6. To prove how poor his Jayden Hunt call was these were the players selected after Hunt at pick 57.. James Sicily was taken at pick 56 which was out of our control. Besides the rookie upgrades there is not one player there i would rather have then Hunt. Incredibly poor post by WTM. ROUND FOUR 57. Melbourne: Jayden Hunt 58. Fremantle: Brady Grey 59. 7. Is it me or does anyone else get quite shitty when we are never mentioned as a club interested when it comes to big name players. Even with Hurley we hear bits here and there but nothing else. I understand club maybe wants to keep a low profile but most of the time it ends up that we are never in the hunt with most of the big name players that get mentioned. You'll always hear us chasing the Melkshams and the Hibberds but personally they dont excite me at all.
  8. Since when does offering the captaincy have anything to do with Fyfe coming to Melbourne? Fyfe will only come to Melbourne because he will see us as a genuine premiership contender and achieve great success in the next couple of years. Has absolutely jack [censored] to do with the captaincy. For all we know the Freo players dont rate his leadership at all.. So what that say really.
  9. Thread needs more Billy Love!! How was the roar when Billy dashed through the middle inside 50 and nailed the goal. Future 200 game player is our little Billy!
  10. If there was a big positive out of yesterday in a pretty dull full of sloppy errors its Billy Stretch. Its ridiculous how clean, calm and poise he is under extreme pressure while other more experienced players crumble under the pressure. His gut running and spread is a highlight and shows the incredible workrate that he has. We rave about Petracca Oliver and Brayshaw but Stretch should be talked amongst those guys as he is very underrated and goes about his business in a quite way. Keep up the good work Billy!
  11. Well doesn't that [censored] throw spanner through the works. Really [censored] off now. I swear our young talent can never take a trick at this club.
  12. The ANB spray is one of the all time best! Gave him an absolute bath
  13. Must be embarrassing being a lion's supporter knowing your team was beaten by a TAC cup team.
  14. I never said that. I said if the AFL don't look into it and investigate then he WILL get away with it every week.
  15. AFL should investigate or at least ask for a pleasr explain otherwise he will continue to get away with it every week. Drops his knees at every opportunity and sucks the umps in at all costs. Add him to the most punchable heads too..
  16. Hope so mate. Always thought his first year was one of the most impressive first year debut i have seen in a very long time. Probably second behind Jeager bomb from Gold Coast.
  17. You can thank Tim Lamb for that who spotted him playing a praccy match up here in Benalla!
  18. Impressive article on Oliver. http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/teams/melbourne/clayton-oliver-has-all-the-hallmarks-of-a-future-champion-just-five-games-into-his-career/news-story/4795d46a0eb940c6b84f4bd039f76686
  19. Maybe some sort of welfare role with him and Tammy that look after newnrecruits from interstate/country. Bit like what the Lamberts did at GWS and nor Brisbane. They could all bunk at his mansion.
  20. Wonder if we could use Roosy like how Essendon with Sheedy right now? Alot of marketing and promotional stuff.
  21. Roosy on 3aw mentioned that he would still like a part time role at the club after he finishes but obviously thats not the main focus now.
  22. I still laugh about last year against Adelaide when he completely ragdoll a crow player and just literally grabbed and threw him out of the pack with such ease. He is living up to his name.
  23. For not only saving this club from turmoil but bringing back the fun and enjoyment in what its actually like to support a real AFL club now. They preached patience that it was going to take time but the rewards would be there Not only did we just smash out all time membership record we are now starting to put on a consistent performance each week. It is exciting and i have self belief that we are finally set for the next couple of years with some success. These two will be forever indebted to the Melbourne Football club for the mountain of hardwork thats been put in and we are now starting to hopefully see the rewards. I should also note the development team led Brendan McCartney. To see players like Gawn and Viney borderline elite is something this side hasn't had since probably the Lyon Flower days.. Its a good time to be a Melbourne supporter.
  24. Agree. Not enough love for Jason Taylor and his recruiting team for biting the bullet not get sucked in by the hype Twomey and likes spruik out.
