The Jesse Hogan Panic Room - all contract talk here
dazzledavey36 replied to Grapeviney's topic in Melbourne Demons
Actually funny enough Brayshaw was a Freo supporter. -
I don't think you have a right to say that Poita because you haven't played AFL before. How ignorant of you
-
Retire? I could see Richmond, Essendon (Mark Neeld connection) and maybe even GC having a crack at Grimes. Interesting if true but i wonder where he sits with Simon Goodwin. I know Goodwin has a pretty healthy relationship with all players so i wonder if Goodwin will do what Ken Hickley did for Kane Cornes career.

MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 16
dazzledavey36 replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Really? Where did you hear that from? If correct you would think Oscar goes forward as Tom goes to Pavlich, Frost to Mayne. But then again Oscar would be the perfect match up for Taberner. -
Around The Grounds - ROUND 16
dazzledavey36 replied to Deemented Are Go!'s topic in Melbourne Demons
Well done to the Power fans in booing Hodge. I like it alot. -
Again completely missed the point i was trying to point out to you. One last time for the simpleton like yourself. The question was put forward that Should Daniel Cross stayed on another year to help down back to utilize his kicking skills which i pointed out that no it wouldn't because, 1. His penetration and skill level was starting to decline and on the back half of the year was kicking floaters and turning it over. 2. Him staying on another year would mean less games for a Josh Wagner and Jayden Hunt. It stalls development. And yes he was good at intercepting marks and chopping off forward entries. But so is Josh Wagner who is starting to show those glimpse. I have great admiration for Cross and was filthy he was let go but now hindsight is that club made right choice. I still dont understand why you are being a spoilt little brat over this. I'm a massive Cross fan and was NOT 'denigrate' towards him at all. "How many AFL games have you played" Spare me Saty seriously.. Oh and well done on taking a pot shot at Demonland once again. Heres a little tip.. If you can't handle supporters opinions on football take a little holiday for yourself.. in fact do me a favour while your at it.

But hang on... Doesn't he go down to training and tells em what they did wrong during the game? Imagine your an AFL player and some crazy old fool comes down and tells you how to play the game. Players would cringe and take the [censored] out him. As the old saying goes.. 'Every club has one'.
-
Wow you really did take that personally... Here il make it you easier for you and explain in real simple terms Pauline Henson. I loved and admired Crossy for what he did and was one who disagreed with the decision to let him go at the time. But while he was still winning alot of the footy his penetration in his kicking was decreasing and was struggling to hit targets. And do you know whats even funny Satyriconhome? Crossy even admited this when i had a beer with him after playing against him this year at Albury. He now knows that he would have only taken a spot that maybe a Wagner or Hunt are playing now. We spoke about things but as he said then, in hindsight the club made the right decision. Now was that too hard for you? Who am i kidding, you'll come back with some pathetic response like he always do.

Lol Kicking off a half back?? Clearly never saw him play....

It seems Grimes and Michie could be the inclusions? -

keep em coming.. -
Im pretty Roos said couple of months ago the club will continue to try an add an A grade midfielder at the end of the year.
-
Well there you go.. Called it last week too! Wouldn't be surprised if we have our eyes in Crouch or O Meara... Both have higher ceiling then Prestia..
-
Amazing to think the respect the kid has already won on opposition supporters. Just read a comment by a freo suporter that said "Stopping the young gun Hunt off the half back will go a long way to beating the demons, he has been exhilarating the past few weeks with his pace off the backline, usually when he gets a run in space the demons end up with a scoring opportunity Hate to think what he could achieve once he hits the 50 to 80 games mark.

Just read on Fox Sports website that Taylor is set to leave the Lions at years end and has refused the offer put forward to him. Apparently asking 500k.. Should we make a play for him? We see the lack of speed and outside run that we dont have and thats exactly what Taylor possess. His first 2 years was impressive but due to Brisbanes toxic development culture he hasn't been able to further his development. Id love to get him on board but not at the price he's asking. Interestingly he was the player we were going to pick up at pick 9 if Salem got picked earlier. Also trained at the Dees for a week as part of his AIS scholarship. What i also like about bringing in someone like Taylor in is that he has already played close to 60 games of experience. So he is ready to go unlike in the past where we have brought in Michie Newton and Riley who all played less then 10 games and were very unkown at AFL level.

Is struggling at VFL level big time.

Injuries to high draft picks
dazzledavey36 replied to Jumping Jack Clennett's topic in Melbourne Demons
List goes on.. Blease Grimes Strauss Tapscott and even Scully when he missed fair chunk with a knee injury. -
Why would it be a travesty?
-
I can't stand Tom and everyone knows that. But losing him would be a massive blow. What Tom really needs is another big bodied defender to take the load off him whether thats Hurley, Nathan Brown or as already mentioned Eric McKenzie. I just feel Tom thinks he needs to be the general of the backline and do everything at million miles an hour instead of just keeping it simple. Jared Rivers was the best example of this. Say what you want about him but we really are missing James Frawley right at this point.
-
No we saw it about a 1 month ago when he re signed and it was splash all over the MFC website lol.
-
No doesn't deserve an opportunity because he has done nothing. Will be delisted at years end.
-
Yeah your right.. Only a couple of ex spud forwards who talk complete drivel and no idea what they on about.. pfft.. My god you are seriously delusional.. Watching you continue to dig yourself a bigger hole is actually quite sad.
-
Well if Jason Dunstall and Jonathan Brown said it then they clearly have no idea because Mumbo Jumbo said he is a required player..
-
Required player!? Surely your taking the [censored] now. Open your eyes mate. Adds zero impact on field. Can't mark, can't run, Can't even go and give Gawn a chop out because he struggles to get off th5w ground. Oh and most importantly struggles to even kick a goal as a power foward. The main key aspect as a forward. The sooner he is at Casey fields the better.

Would rather Majak Daw.
