Just saw that Matthew Egan has left Essendon for more opportunities. Very highly rated at Essendon for his development work and interim role he had as a coach when hird got the sack. Coached the VFL team this year. With the Dees looking to fill in Goodwin role, I wouldn't be surprised if its this bloke.

We went cold on Prestia Abe. It had nothing to do with the offer with Richmond. After Prestia went turned us down last year Goodwin had his eyes set on Oliver straight away as that inside bull hence why Goodwin came up with the recruitment team to Mooroopna to interview Oliver and get more of a background check to ensure he was the right player for pick 4. Il put any money now Goodwin wouldn't be fussed on not chasing Prestia this year after the impressive first year from Oliver.
