  1. He is based in SA full time. Moved there from WA when he was a kid. Another blunder from our very own Ben Gibson..
  2. How so? Have i missed something with Jack Martin to suggest that all of a sudden he is going to Carlton to become a high quality recruit? Same bloke that was dropped to the reserves towards the back end of the year by one of the worst teams this decade has seen. Kemp Is still a big risk imo. What does that say on Hawthorn and Geelong who also passed him up? Two clubs who are known to have state of the art medical teams. They would have factored that in. Not only that but Carlton then traded up to pick 20 to pick up a kid who was predicted to go in the 3rd round. That's a big enough risk right there considering the talent that was still available around that pick. Carlton fans weren't exactly impressed with that selection either. It's just laughable to suggest Carlton are already the big winner is this draft when Fremantle just snagged 3 quality talents in the top 10.
  3. I am torn between the two PSD. Leaning towards Sharp to be honest.
  4. Wonder if Goody will tell the story to Kozzy on the night he tried to get stuck into his uncle...
  5. Bergman is seriously overrated in my opinion. Bloke by the name of Fraser Phillips who I'd take over him any day of the week.
  6. Is it me or does those highlights when he's clucking those big marks remind anyone of when Mitch Clark was at his best for us back in 2012? We are apparently going to train him into a key forward which excites me even more now.
  7. Took you a while but glad you are on the LJ train Jacko ?
  8. Really surprised Carlton overlook Roberston
  9. Yeah Kozzy! King on Fox has HUGE wraps of Kozzy and was quite excited about watching him next year.
  10. Foxtel just gave away the Stephens pick lol
  11. Think you'll find steve has Saty on ignore.
  12. Better start feeling that way now.
  13. Just to put things in perspective on people saying that he is a bit of a reach. Hawthorn, Port, and Western Bulldogs are clubs all ready to pounce on Pickett in those early selections in the teens hence why we are set to use pick 10 on him. Hawthorn at 11 and Bulldogs at 13 are the ones who have put in a lot of work into him and ones that also invited him to draft night tonight. I dont think we'll split 10 purely on the basis that he will be gone by mid teens. So yes, we aren't the only ones willing to use an early pick on Kozzy.
  14. Word is we won't be bidding on Green because we are set on Jackson.
  15. Trent Rivers is my tip.
  16. That'll take him to Xmas. Hopefully he is full training by end of January.
  17. When I watched him towards the back end of the year playing for Dandenong, he was playing around the wing. His kicking really is a delight to watch, but certainly his body work on being a midfielder needed work. He is a talented player and will be a gun half back in years to come. But these days you can pluck half back flanker from anywhere and they can come in a make a sudden impact. The likes of Marty Hore, Luke Ryan, Tom Stewart and Michael Hibbered are just example of HBF who are late picks who can come in and play the role straight away. So really using pick 3 on a HBF probably isn't really that necessary. This is why the Luke Jackson recruit makes sense. Rarely do you get blokes in the Brody Grundy and Nic Naitanui class that come right at your door step. Jackson is one of those rare breeds who'll be a very very good AFL player when he hits his prime.
  18. When there's smoke there's fire.
  19. yep, pretty much the case.
  20. Brilliant as usual @DeeSpencer and @kev martin
