Groups have split to backs, forwards and mids. No noticeable player position change. But i reckon Joel Smith will come under serious consideration this week. Moving well and his skills are actually quite good. Hitting targets where some have been a bit hit and miss in these conditions.

Did forget to mention that Joel Smith was actually part of the main squad along with JKH instead of the guys who played at Casey when they split off.

Training fully and moving fine mate

Main squad doing a full ground drill which on the point of the flank and worked up the ground to the leading forward. This consists of spreading out wide hard then hitting the lead up forward . Its very blustery so the skills are a bit up and down which im not worried about. Petracca is the deep lead up forward who then alternates with Weideman. Ball movement is quick and play on at all costs. Gussy, Jones, Viney and Lewis see looking class above.

Vandenberg just brushed Viney aside with ease.. The man cannot be stopped!

Nope. The guys that are playing at Casey are down one end, Bernie and Jeffy with this group. JKH training with the main squad which is interesting and training well too!

Group im watching are missing easy 20-30m snaps in front of goals. Joel Smith moving well as is Sam Frost.

Only change i would make would be JKH for Spargo. JKH fits our hard tackling brand. Play that high half forward wing role and create alot of pressure around our forward 50.

He stil has deficiency he needs to iron out. Dont understand why you didn't bump this thread up when he spent all day kicking down sydney's throat or fumbling and turning it over against West Coast. I will absolutely give him praise for his game on friday night. Kept it simple and try not to bite off more then he can chew. Keep this up and he'll take his game to the next level. Still fumbles way too much for my liking.

Played well and so he should have. I still have my worries though.

His tackling pressure for such a big man is immense. No offense to Hoges, but hes quite a lazy player when it comes to forward pressure and tackling. Also this is a HUGE HUGE tick for Jason Taylor.
