Not sure if he was a "highly rated small forward" didn't make any of the vic squads nor was he in many experts phantom drafts. Bit of a smoky really. Played small forward all year last year and kicked something like 3 goals. Pretty dismal effort.. wasn't getting a touch earlier on the year and then was moved down back and has been handy without starring. Personally i dont rate him at all and would delist. If we're looking for a lock down running defender then Jay Lockart goes alright.

Not sure about better tackler.. i put him in the same vein as Garlett.. sticks out one hand etc.. where's Mitch tackles and tackles with prupose and drive. Ask any Swan supporter and they'll say Rohan is as inconsistent as they come. They're celebrating in style now that hes requested a trade back home.

He does not show the same physical attributes and forward tackling pressure like Hannan. Hannan also wins the ball and stands up in big games. Give me Hannan, then delight, then Rohan..

Yeah doesnt seem to mingle much with the other players. I could be looking at it on a different view through, could be just him being focused etc. Will be a Brendan McCartney project over the summer me thinks.

Looked fit and well. Loved the little banter between him and Salem right in front of me though! Salem sprayed a kick on his right foot with Jetta right on his backside and Jetta yelled "ahh thats the pressure right there" Salem: "[censored] off mate!" ? He also pulled Dion Johnstone aside to do some one on one body positioning and contest work too. Ready to go.

Heffernan was an absolute spud! His heart was never at Melbourne despite being a dees supporter as a kid. Came in with big expectations as he was touted to be Essendons next captain in waiting Up there as one of the worst players to pull on the red and blue. Gary Moorcroft was a gimp.

They looked switched on and focused. The enthusiasm was there but also very measured.

Watching him at training today he just looks bereft of confidence. I'm not sure if this is his nature, but very quite during drills and just went through the motions. I've always thought he was an up and bubbly kind of kid through social media, but did not see any of that today. Compare it to Bernie Vince today who was up and about and bantering with Goodwin at one stage. Probably looking too much into it.

I think we'll go unchanged, but the only change that i could see happening is maybe JKH for Spargo, and Smith for Hibbard if he doesn't get up. Other then that i think we'll most likely go unchanged.

Look he wasn't limping or anything. Was doing doing timed laps at a reasonable pace, so i think its more of a management thing.

Very calm and measured he is. But he looks like a man now. The way he moves and marks with his hands outreach reminds me a lot of Josh Kennedy from West Coast.
