  1. [censored] you melbourne and [censored] you Goodwin! You've completely turned a good side into shambles
  2. Bunch of [censored] spuds
  3. There's been a lot of commentary around Spargs on where he's best position is. Have mentioned a few pages back that i saw some of his junior years play as a genuine midfielder. And a bloody good one too. The half forward role he is currently playing is for his own physical development. He is still slight and still building up his engine. Goodwin is not going to chuck Spargo in the center and smash him to bits. I would think over this year we will start to see him push up to a wing to utilise his smarts and cleanliness with ball in hand. Over the next few years i would like to think that Goodwin will start to play him in his natural position as an on baller who rests up forward. Obviously he needs to build his frame but that will come naturally with more pre seasons under his belt. Lets not forget that this kid is still only 19 years old.

Honestly, does this thread need to be updated every second week?
  5. Dropped
  6. Good to get some good chunk of experience back.
  7. He is based in Perth. I dont think little Wiz will be playing for the red and blue anytime soon.
  8. According to AFL.com he has put contract talks off until end id the season.
  9. Ya dreaming Sam..

Jones’ consistent start to the season and the fact he’s been allowed to settle in the Swans’ midfield may make it hard for him to justify a move. It’s unclear whether Melbourne will pursue the speedy midfielder, but the Demons have the money to orchestrate a
  11. Vanders has pulled up sore again. Looks like he is cooked unfortunately.

Knowing our luck he'll do a Kent Kingsley on us.

What a stupid thing to say. This is the typical Melbourne game that we are prone to drop. Saints are in good form, and yes i understand we have just had a win ourselves. But no way is this a walk in the park (no game is this year) Hopefully the Sydney win will be the kick start we needed.

I am a fan as well. Peels off and intercepts well. Exact kind of player we need. He is a joy to watch.

They are not rubbish. I too am worried about the saints outside run and dash. On a big ground at the MCG they will expose us if we do not defend carefully and restrict their space.
  16. ANB just the 14 disposals. Tyson had 22 touches for North.
  17. Its his opinion. I dont agree with it, but he has every right to share it. At least its football related unlike yourself who just pot shots everyone on this forum and adds zero footy related discussion. Pull ya head in.
  18. Agree in regards to the short turn around. If Jetta needs time to get his knee sorted then i would be happy enough for him to come back against Richmond. The recovery process from St Kila to richmond might be too risky also considering if he has lingering knee issues.
  19. Nasher, you shouldnt have to explain yourself in regards to Jetta. But i also understand why you had to.. ?‍♂️ Jetta is simply locked and loaded in our best 22. He is also our Vice captain and when on song he's one of our best one on one defenders. St Kilda forwards have a mix of small forwards that run through there, Billings Lonie Gresham etc. Gresham is the one i want Jetta locking down on.
  20. Me too, i would love Goodwin to give him a good block of 4 to 6 weeks of game time. I remember years ago against Hawthorn he did a real good shut down job on Brad Hill and completely took him out of the game. I wonder if that could be a role for him where he negates their quick outside players.
  21. Agree, it will take some time for him. I watched the last qtr of last weeks game against Geelong where he played majority of that qtr in the ruck. I'd be curious to know if they will also use him up forward as he apparently impressed in some of the Casey practice games he played this year.
  22. A report would be awesome thanks mate.
  23. Had a good 10 day break so hopefully he pulls up well. Saints have a short defence, so would be good to stretch them while we can.
