Inside the Draft
What an amazing raw insight into how it's all done. The big thing I took out of that was our interest in Mitch Geogiages. Well done to the Melbourne media team.

Bradtke Putting in the Hard Yards
I have the same opinion as you. He looked way off and that was always meant to happen. I dont expect him to debut at all as he is still incredibly raw and light.

His name is Deakyn Smith. He is 179cm tall and weighs about 76kg. He's definitely one to watch next year. Played sorta around half back wing and is quite clean with his skills and ball use but also shows a bit of dash. Played 8 games for Dandenong Stingrays and averaged 10.8 disposals per game. Hope he can improve on that.

Nev Takes Kozzy In
https://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/teams/melbourne/swans-draftee-lauds-best-mate-and-new-dee-kysaiah-pickett/news-story/095c1f04876435fea6544b87ba4fbcea For him, what he can do with the ball is amazing, but if he doesn’t get his hands on it as much as he would have liked he can impact the game in other ways defensively. “He can clean people up, tackle, pressure, and even for me playing against him, you just know he could be anywhere. “He’ll catch you in no time and his presence, you hear him breathing behind you and start to panic and that impacts your skills.”

Some absolutely fantastic training reports. A question to the likes of @Baghdad Bob and @DeeSpencer, how do you guys view Kyle Dunkley? do you guys see him making it eventually? He intrigues me the most because he came into our system with no AFL pre season behind him and i thought he showed promise. Training with the mids I believe?

New Recruit 'Bonding'
Don't think that's correct. Jack Hannath was a train on player and he managed to head up to Darwin to our training camp for a few days.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - LUKE JACKSON
There seems to be some genuine excitement with this kid, especially from some of our own track watchers. Im feeling theres a lot of Clarry about this selection..

TRAINING: Monday 9th December 2019
This year (2020) will be another development year for Bradtke. Watched a couple of Casey games where he was hardly noticed all day. But to me that's fine as he was a project raw tall prospect that was always going to take time. I don't expect much from him next as i expect the bigger bodies to still push him around as he is still relatively skinny but also his game sense around him still needs work. I think his 3rd year under a AFL system is where we will really start to hopefully get a real glimpse of his talent. I like him and hope he really comes on. That or he could be the next Max King who was on our list..

I would happily take Tarranto over Kelly and Whitfield. Absolute star in the making.

Watch his grand final performance. Yes he kicked 5 behinds but everytime he went near the ball he was really dangerous and was just simply running rings around GWS back half.

2019 Player Reviews: #36 Jeff Garlett
Yep, he lost a very close cousin of his back in 2017 as well which I think really affected him personally. Love Jeffy and wish him all the best here on.

Yeah nah, to think otherwise is laughable, the wider football community and Richmond supporters would laugh at this. I Castagna is by far a much dynamic and complete footballer then ANB. Just remember also that during the year ANB was dropped by the 2nd worst AFL club in the competition. Even at VFL level he was quite ordinary and didn't exactly bang the door down for selection. The sooner Pickett and Bedford come on the better, as that would mean ANB is back playing 2s football where he belongs.

I still would have kept Jeffy for another year over someone like Josh Wagner. But that's just me personally...

Some good reports guys @deespicable me @Baghdad Bob @george_on_the_outer Question i have in regards to Jackson is where do you think he will line up position wise come round 1? Talk before the draft is that the club will train him up as a key forward. But going off what I have just read, there is definitely a chance that he could play as a genuine on baller. Thanks

I would not have picked you to be over 50 Bin! You certainly have seen the up and downs over of this club over the years old timer.
