Rubbish. Oscar was getting outbodied and outmarked by 185cm no names forwards against the doggies in his last VFL game to the point where they had to shift him forward. He is depth now and the sooner May is back the quicker Omac is back at Casey. Petty has already shown be has more tricks then Oscar. Time to put all of our development into Petty once our forward line is up and running.

Welcome Darren! A great get for our footy club! https://coupler.foxsports.com.au/api/v1/article/amp/afl/afl-2019-darren-burgess-joins-melbourne-as-new-head-of-high-performance/news-story/252671826ee8021c7861ffa500dc20f8?__twitter_impression=true

Ralph reported on Tuesday night that the Demons would likely land the midfielder, who’s averaged a career-high 25.9 disposals and played all 17 games to date this season. “Ed Langdon will get to the Melbourne Football Club,” Ralph said. “He loves Ross Lyon and Ross loves him, but he just wants to be closer to his family.”

This is interesting.. I recall Aaron Neitshke also did his knee when they were out training earlier in the pre season? https://www.sen.com.au/news/2019/07/23/is-casey-fields-contributing-to-the-skill-demise-at-melbourne/

Not sure he disputes anything swyl .. it's fact you constantly repeat yourself in every single match day/Goodwin thread over and over again. Becomes tiresome.

So Lyon picked a guy that nearly sent this club to fold but yet thats ok because he's "passionate" Nah [censored] that. I'll back Goodwin in to get us going again next year.

Ha!! He is pretty much the cause of it for picking Mark Neeld from the start. He is the reason Roos had to come in and clean up the mess!

2020 Assistant Coach Prospects: The Next Batch

Our delivery inside 50 was the best i had seen all year. Just couldn't finish it off. Lewis and Fritsch were a big part of this. It's now a no brainer that Fritsch HAS to play forward for the rest of his career. Him and Melksham kicking into our forward 50 will go a long way to Weideman and McDonald getting the job done.

Casey Demons v Geelong VFL - Round 16
dazzledavey36 replied to KC from Casey's topic in Melbourne Demons
He is stiI'll incredibly raw but has some serious athletic traits. For someone that is 195cm tall he has the speed of Jayden Hunt and surprisingly his skills is very sound. To get some perspective both he and Declan Keilty have played 11 games in the VFL. Keilty who's played CHF all year has only kicked 7 while Lefau has kicked 12 goals. Keilty has been on our list for 3 years and has barely fired a shot. I would be rather be putting our time and development into an unknown beast like Lefau who's already shown he can mix it with the best in the VFL. I have genuine excitement of his raw potential if put into a full time AFL environment. -
Josh Wagner played on the wing yesterday instead of his usual role at half back. What did people think? I thought he cracked in real hard and laid some strong tackles. Still did some "Wagner" shockers with the ball but.

Jordan Lewis is NOT cooked, give him 1 more season.

Would a rookie list option be our best case moving forward? -

The beauty about having Lewis and Fritsch up forwards was that for the first time this year i felt we were able to connect to our forwards through clean delivery from these two guys. Could have easily kicked 4 yesterday. -
David Rodan is actually right up there as one of the best goal umpires going around.

I never said they did.

No. They have the talent to be quiet potent in years to come if developed properly. Charlie Curnow, McKay, Weitering, Petrevski Seton, O' Brien, Walsh, Cripps, Zac Fisher, Settlefield, Marchbank are all good young players who will be gun players once they get to the 80-100 game mark. Their spine is set for the next 10 years. McKay and Curnow are forward who you build around and Cripps and Walsh in the midfield will be superstars. If they can grab another inside mid with pick 11 then its an already impressive on ball brigade with Cripps, Walsh, Settlefield, Lochie O'Brien.. Need to find a ruckman as Kruezer is slowing down. Marchbank, Jones and Weitering are solid defenders who will hold their backline for the next 5 years. Putrid list? Nah..
