Theres been a few whispers on here that supposedly we are into Max Heath from St Kilda. 205xm ruckman who can also rest up forward and take a strong contested mark. Watched him closely today against North and he was pretty impressive. Played just his 3rd AFL game and had 10 disposal, 4 marks and kicked 2.2 and 9 hitouts as a resting ruckman. Not only would he take over from Gawn but it would mean that JVR could focus full time on his forward craft. Big unit also..

Fair ppint PSD. The club has sucked all the relevance and care factor out of me to be honest. Even when the siren sounded last week, I just sat there not even stunned, just complete silence. Honestly, I just want the season to end now so we can see the changes implemented straight away. I should also add, along with the young players coming through, Kozzie Pickett is another who is worth just watching from an individual perspective. His development has been this year has been a treat to watch.

No, he doesn't. Either those players could come in and it would mean we could release a Langford, Rivers or even Laurie into that midfield. And I can guarantee they would at least offer more then a player with a broken wrist. Not like Viney is a star player that would leave a huge hole if he wasn't playing. Its no coincidence our midfield was humming this year when Viney was out. Since hes come back in, our midfield set up and cohesion is a mess again. Remember Oliver carrying that hand injury last year? He turned into a complete liability becaude he couldn't impact with his inside work and hands.

But what does that achieved then if he's playing through pain in an absolute dead rubber match. Considering this club has a long history of mismanaged player injuries, this just make completely no sense whatsoever and just another reason why the whole footy department needs a massive overhaul. Put him on ice for the year and get surgery done if he has too. Play Rivers, Laurie or even Langford for instance in that role for the next 4 weeks. Great time to start transitioning Langford in there as an inside mid and gain some valuable experience.

I'd happily offer him a 1 deal. Something also tells me he would just be happy to retired at the same time.

How has Fullarton been cruelled by injury?? Pretty much played a whole season at VFL level last year and this year. Lets just accept the fact that hes simply not good at all and injury has played no role in that.

Worse as in not that Viney has an injury but worse as in we've literally got fit players ready to go but nah.. let's continue to play the guy with the broken wrist in a dead rubber game that means absolutely nothing. Heaths contested marking si one of his biggest strengths. One touch player. I hope we are interested because I have no doubt he could become a Hayden McLean type forward who can go into the ruck and give a decent chop out Kicked 5 goals in a VFL game last year.

Really? Which part have you missed this week in all the footy shows and radio staions where the analysis and dissecting of Sundays game? Its been splashed all over the media as well as deep analysis into our inability to to just let St Kilda do what they did in the last. When you lose a game in the manner that we did, with the the season we've, had then of course you're going to attract attention around the coaching future and players being traded.
