NON-MFC: Finals Week 01
Yes had you said the current 23 then it would make sense. They're in good hands for the next few years. Gunston and Bruest chalk up a lot of the games and experience on tonight. Both of them only played a half pretty much as they subbed each other on and off. This is a team that won without two of their younger stars in CJ and Will Day on top of Watson and Dear combing for 7 goals in total. Not bad for a couple of first year players.

If it's the 23 playing then yes that makes more sense.

Lesson to be learnt here @DeeSpencer.. Do your research.

Mac Andrew
You're forgetting Tarion Ah-Mu who's shown a lot more as a key forward then White has. 198cm key forward/ruckman who's built like a powerhouse already for such a young kid. His school footy performance and Coates League level form is setting him up well going into next year.

Looks completely cooked. Hasn't had a touch this quarter and yet they have McRea sitting on the bench as a sub..

NON-MFC: Finals Week 01
Watching Hawthorn tonight brings back so many happy memories of watching the Dees in the 2018 finals. Noisy crowd, young team full of attack and and momentum. Smash em Hawks!

Mac Andrew
He's still fairly raw mate. He's missed significant amount of footy over the last couple of years due to injury and he's finally had a good run over the past few months. His footy IQ and decision making is sound and will need some work but it's his athletic profile and raw potential is what would excite Jason Taylor. If I had a choice between Andrew or Noah Yze I'm picking Andrew every day of the week and by a fair length. His upside is pretty high just because he's missed a fair bit of footy. He's got some similar traits to CJ from Hawthorn who was a category B rookie listed player by the Hawks mind you.

Kate Roffey Steps Down
Yeah see ya. Brought in as someone with a wealth of experience in being able help secure a home base and yet, here we are no where near any close to having a home base 3 years on. Whatever she did, good on her. Then to have Brad Green step in doesn't fill me with that much confidence either. The sooner Steven Smith steps in the better. It's incredibly crucial we get this right.

Ken Hinkley - Head of Football
Agree, I'd take Simmo anyway over Ken.

2024 Phantom Drafts
Ahead of Bo Allen?

Trade Targets
Interesting that we will be targeting experienced midfielders in this up and coming trade period. Parfitt and Will Brodie certainly fit that description.

Season 2024 Over for Clayton Oliver
Interesting because I heard the opposite. I heard we chased him hard during 2018 and Dom Tyson confirmed this on a podcast with Shane Crawford and it was one of the reason he was pushed out of the team as they were targeting a genuine wingman which Gaff and Josh Kelly were our prime targets. Turns out we couldn't get either across the line.

[censored] off would ya.

Season 2024 Over for Clayton Oliver
Stephen Rowe on SA FIVEAA radio did mention that Adelaide will be going after Oliver again this year.

Season 2024 Over for Clayton Oliver
Maybe because it's no coincidence that soon as Petracca has raised issues with the club we now find ourselves that Clarry may be on the trade table.. If the right offer is there then do the trade.

2024 Phantom Drafts
Prefer Riak Andrew over Yze.

Dan Houston
Because he's not exactly what we need. Our prime targets this off season should be midfield talent and depth. With pick 5 you're getting a potential 12-15 year player instead of a 29 year old half back flanker. He's good, but he's still not worth pick 5 imo and that's exactly what Port will ask for.

Trade Targets
Yeah I do recall you saying this a few months back. Good get.

Farewell Alex Neal-Bullen
I personally don't see the burst of speed from Hynes at all from some of the games I've watched.

Dan Houston
He said its based of no inside information at all but more so just his own personal thought.

Trade Targets
Someone did mention here a while ago that we had interest with Derksen. Pretty sure he's childhood friends with Andy Moniz Wakefield

Trade Targets
Peter Wright as a forward/ruckman type to give Gawn a decent chop out instead of throwing JVR in there. James Peatling for more midfield talent. After seeing him monster Clayton Oliver around the stoppages against GWS I want this kid big time. Malcolm Rosas for more half forward offence and speed inside 50. I don't particularly rate Chandler all that highly and I think Rosas could easily be our Jack Ginnavin for next year if given a fresh start with a brand new offensive game plan. Will Brodie, Alex Davies and even Ben Hobbs for added midfield depth.
