Not sure how he could have mentored a young 18 year old he never met or had any associate with at all while working for another club, but also living in another state.

Brodie Smith was selected in the 2010 National Draft in November. At that stage Goodwin had already signed as an assistant coach at Essendon...? Have I missed something here...?

Billings would be the perfect outside tonic that we are desperate for. Like @Pulp Fritschon said though, can't see the saints parting away with Billings. They'd want a first round pick. Richards is an interesting one. Played half back in his under 18s year and was pretty impressive but the doggies have played him as a half forward flank.

Agree, Longmire is big on players being versatile, so I can see the appeal there for them. I like tmac, but he needs a fresh start just like Ben Brown needs a fresh start with us.
