Just a shoulder clean out for Clarry. Shouldn't cause him too much grief over the pre season.

My god is it me or just Tienan Stynes have that distinctive deep voice like his father!?

Tell me about it Wise.. Red and blue glasses need to be taken off when it comes to this time of the year.

Mate, he was drafted last year and is contracted until 2021. Bulldogs will not give up a kid that I'm sure they rate highly for a bloke who drifts in and out of games and someone they can get for a 4th round pick or delisted free agent. Have to be realistic here. We'll be getting a late pick at best.

Rhyce Shaw takes extended break
dazzledavey36 replied to La Dee-vina Comedia's topic in Melbourne Demons
Well i can tell you as a fact there is gay footballers currently playing in the AFL. I know a gun player in particular who is from a big Melbourne club. That's not the issue though. Matter of the point is that in this day of age where society is trying to preach same sex relationship and diversity in the game, we still have gay AFL footballers who are still too scared to come out because of of the ramifications that would transpire from the general public and social media. Its a sad state of affairs but its the reality. Yet in AFLW it's celebrated. Can I ask you an honest answer @Elegt? How would you feel if we had a gay Melbourne player running around? Intrigued by your thoughts on this. -

Well going off this quote by McCartney at the start of the year I think there is a merit to @Roost it far comment. https://www.google.com/amp/s/coupler.foxsports.com.au/api/v1/article/amp/afl/afl-2020-afl-melbourne-demons-brendan-mccartney-clayton-oliver/news-story/f1ea160c82ebe5c4f501d4201fbc4e4d “So ‘Clarry’ was just so headstrong, which for some coaches can be a real turn-off you know they can think this kid’s not gonna listen so he’s not gonna make it,” he said. “Why was he headstrong? There’s a way to connect with Clarry, people like Clarry and there’s a way not to, but I was pretty strong with him, pretty direct; sent him off to get feedback from a raft of people and not only was it resounding in some areas it was consistent. “I said ‘so this isn’t made up mate’”.

Don't agree with this at all. For so long coaches have been made scapegoats. If this is true what you say that our players are uncoachable then what an absolute disgrace. Smacks of absolute arrogance from our players on the back of zero success. This isn't the coaches fault here, its the players. Our culture [censored] sucks and its record speaks for itself.

Can't stand the cant. I hope he never achieves team success in his life team the grub.

Something worth noting is Hind is 26 years of age already.

I'm not being a smart [censored] here DD but are you legit?

A doggies supporter on bigfooty posted on the MFC that we had very good word that we were interested in Nick Hind from the Saints. Anyone know much about him? All I know is that he is very quick?

Tom Phillips - Outside Skills and Speed
dazzledavey36 replied to Simon Port's topic in Melbourne Demons
Baker hasn't proved himself yet, whereas Phillips can come in straight away and make an impact immediately. Let's not shy away that Phillips has been a big contributor for Collingwood when they have gone deep into finals the past few years. Maybe I am impatience, but Baker is still unproven at this stage. One of his biggest weakness is his tank. Phillips like Langdon, will run up and down the wing using his endurance power to run the game out hard.- 474 replies

Injured and pushed out of his normal position from the wing to a half forward due to the emergence of Daicos. -

Oliver Rumours on Footy Classified
dazzledavey36 replied to dazzledavey36's topic in Melbourne Demons
DD is a bit like Sam Newman around the golfing saga. He'll yell, scream and throw a tantrums because he wants people to take notice of him. But then people just eventually ignore him and he'll fizzle out and becomes irrelevant to the point we forget he actually still exists. Just one of those old timers who struggles to keep of with the reality of time. Ignore him and this place is a much better place. I like laughing at you too. -

And yet you still come on here to put in your 2 cents worth everytime you continue to bore everyone with the same comment. If this thread riles you up old man feel free to ignore it. If people want to continue to discuss this then they have every right too. Its a football discussion. -

dazzledavey36 replied to dazzledavey36's topic in Melbourne Demons
He's not going anywhere for this year. I'd be more worried if we got to round 10 next year and he was still unsigned and we were not in the top 8. The Oliver being unhappy is real though. -
Tom Phillips - Outside Skills and Speed
dazzledavey36 replied to Simon Port's topic in Melbourne Demons
IF ... the name of the player is not yet known ... THEN ... the type is. A left-footed wingman. That's what the Demons want, and two have the bait in front of them: Isaac Smith and Tom Phillips. -
Well done I say.
