  1. One of the most bizarre games I've ever seen by the Dees. 28 points up at 3 qtr time and choked.
  2. Johnstone was well held that night until the last quarter where he was absolutely sublime with some of his forward entries. What we would kill to have someone in the current Melbourne side with that kind of outside skill set.
  3. Surely the 2006 elimination final against the saints us right up there. I remember thinking this game was the making of Brock McLean and we had the next Nathan Buckley on our hands. Nathan Carroll bringing down G-Train which completely turned the game that night also.
  4. He's been called out many of times on here when questioned on certain topics in a reasonable manner regarding club issues. Anyone can volunteer at a club and speak to staff, not hard ( wish I could too if I didn't leave 3 half hours away). He would snap at anyone if they dared to disagree around all issues Melbourne big or small. He's openly confessed that he comes on here to bait people deliberately. So he gives as good as he gets. Around the Brad Green matter? I've either missed the replied response or haven't recieved a notification. Bit like the Kobe Farmer one? Didn't get a response back from you either, or the the other thread around potential draftees I would have rather invited instead of Farmer. I still stand by that I don't believe he should be on our board. But when you have someone like Glen Bartlett running the joint I'm not one bit surprised. I currently have 0 confident in current administration moving forward. P.s I know you like to follow me around like a cat lately and nitpick any negative response i may write. So not sure what your problem is .
  5. LOL Mate he never had contacts through the club. Unfortunately he just sucked you in to believing that he did.
  6. Geelong and Hawthorn finals 2018.
  7. @Deespicable that's really disappointing to hear. I'm sorry you had to drive all that way for nothing. I notice on some of the players instagram page like James Harmes who was up the Murray River yesterday and Jackson Viney down the coast meant there was no training on today. I should have put something up on here yesterday. Don't rely too much on the Melbournefc website either because its a waste of time. By far the worse in the league.
  8. I'm sorry but since when is Williams of a sudden a better midfielder then Oliver? Absolutely laughable and actually an insult to Oliver that you've pinned Walsh on even terms with Oliver, but rate Williams above him in midfield ability. Just remember he's made the initial All Australian squad 3x as a midfielder, and won a club best and fairest. And he's only 23.
  9. Cripps is overrated
  10. None taken. Didn't think of it like that. Coming from a pacific background that was born and bred overseas personally the word 'specimen' was always taken as a compliment or badge of honour due to our natural pacific build. Different cultures to Majak obviously, but can see your point. Cheers
  11. I personally think it's Viney who upsets our balance. Our midfield I thought looked its best since 2018 when Brayshaw went in and played full time during Viney's injury.

The only ones who have been hyping him are the ones that have been sucked in by the surname without even seeing him play. I mean, there was a reason why he went undrafted and Freo weren't fazed at all when we invited him down to train.. Though I'm still hanging on to @Dannyz word that he's been offered a spot on our list, just pending a right time to announce it..
  13. Brayshaw just spoke on the podcast about Majak. Said he trained with him yesterday and while he's had a few months off AFL training he's got a fair bit of work to do by the sounds of it in terms getting up to standard fitness. Sounds like he was blowing hard a fair bit. Also said that he'll be training for the next 3 weeks.
  14. All good and well to say that clubs can sign players ahead etc. But at the end of the day, the player gets the last say and it would take Daw to verbally say that he wants to join GWS more then anything. At this stage, we were first to give Daw that opportunity and so we get first priority as he has accepted the invitation to train with us.
  15. I'm still seething from his 3 week suspension. He certainly was much better then 2019. From all training reports it seems he's been training really well and hopefully can get back to his 2018 form.
  16. Fantastic achievement.

Interesting that there's been some significant injuries or later. Rowan Marshall is set to miss the start of the year with a stress reaction? Braydon Pruess to miss 5 months with a shoulder. Injuries starting to mount at St Kilda.
  18. My god he is a specimen and a half...
  19. Plus 1.

Funeral for Kozzies mum is not until 5th of March.
  22. You will cop some heat for this post above, but I agree wholeheartedly with everything you've said. Watch the likes of Carlton, Doggies and Saints speed right past us this year if not already.
  23. Living in NSW I've really enjoyed the recent training reports. Such a shame and feel for all you Victorians currently going through lockdown.
