By the looks of it, nope hasn't signed anything.

Jay Clark said on triple M that Viney hasn't given a confirmation to Melbourne whether he's staying or going, but the club are really confident he'll stay.

Jay Clark on triple M yesterday said that Melbourne will be active this trade period and we've got our eyes set on Jared Polec and Isaac Smith as our main targets. Ben Brown was brought up as a discussion and both Nathan Brown and Joey Montanga both agreed that Brown should be our main priority.

Have heard its the Doggies who are interested.

Great news. -
Getting Leppa would be a massive coup. The key architect to Richmond's last two premierships.

Randomly looking through North's bigfooty page and saw this.. Someone rang up Adelaide radio yesterday saying he’s spoken to Jared’s brother who had told him Jared was going to be traded to Melbourne.

Dees Reviewing Senior Footy Department Positions
dazzledavey36 replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Thanks to @Lucifer's Hero for the article. I think what's telling in that whole article is that Alan Richardson position is not safe at all. Though seeing as he is a former teammate and friend of Gary Pert I cannot see him getting cut. Some interesting names that appear to get new contracts. The likes of Hibberd, Spargo, and Lockhart all look set to get new deals. -

Lĺ Yep, would have easily played more games if it wasn't for his shoulder injury.

Fantastic news! Stoked to see what Petty can do with a full pre season as a tall forward.

But yet you still find the need to reply, and question their sources? If you didn't take it for granted, then why reply? I mean its no different to you coming on here and rambling on how much insight you have into Paddy McCartin because you apparently you know the family well.. Up to the individual whether theu want to believe or not. Don't think they need to be criticised for it though DD.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
dazzledavey36 replied to Dee tention's topic in Melbourne Demons
according to Tom Morris on the trade chat, we've had preliminary interest in Ben Brown alongside St Kilda. -
Pickett, finishing 7th in the best and fairest in a bottom 4 club isn't exactly a glowing endorsement on Frost. If he was as good as you've made him out to be there why didn't he finish top 4? Watched several Hawthorn games this year and he has not improved one bit. Was poor and butchered the footy majority of the game. One prime example was against saints when Hawthorn had all of the momentum in the last quarter and he took a kicked out, sprinted 25m and kicked it straight to a St Kilda player who kicked a goal and took all of Hawthorn's momentum away and cost them a potential win. Its no coincidence that after trading Frost out our defence was the best its been for years. Average player at best.

Come to the Dees Smitty! Sounds like he's genuinely torn. I must admit though, I am happy to read that even experienced players like Smith sees great potential on our list moving forward. Had we had Smith playing with us this year i have no doubt we'd be playing finals.
