4 million is nothing now days especially as the new TPA goes up significantly next year. Other then Gold Coast and Brisbane there are not many clubs in the comp that you would say have elite talent coming through. St Kilda is not in that basket but its a solid core at least. At least they're adding some solid B graders who are in the perfect age bracket still that will contribute well next season and beyond. As it stands with players coming in, we have Max Heath who is currently a VFL player (handy one mind you) and potentially a 33 year old Mihocek potentially. They would want to start cooking something fast.

Suns will at least need an early pick for their academy players.

You dont need to bring in A grader talent to win premierships. Brisbane and Collingwood have proven that. Bring in solid B graders which Saints have done on top of their emerging talent and then who knows from. At least they're bringing in B graders unlike the D graders we have been bringing in the last couple of years.

Watch them speed straight past us next year. People can Criticise all they want, but they are building a solid list. Good young talent coming through whilst adding some much needed depth and experience. Good on them i say.

I did see that 'Red' I am happy for James Jordon. Incompetent of Simon Goodwin in his belief of playing the same solider each and every week without even a thought of changing it up cost us the likes of Bedford and Jordon who have gone on to become quality players for their respective clubs. I am glad King is cleaning the place up now.

Paying a chunk of his salary doesn't mean you you're automatically entitled to an early pick.. at the end of the day we are the ones pushing him out the door to look at other opportunities. And as much as they wont say it publicly, it is also a salary dump which makes complete sense now with our chase on Humphrey and Flanders.
