  1. His contract runs out at the end of the year.
  2. I could potentially attend this.. Knowing my luck I'd probably show up with 100 other supporters on the day with no players in sight only to be told over the phone by staff member that they've unexpectedly had to move their closed session to China.

    He already is.
  4. @picket fence comes to the rescue.. On ya Byron!
  5. Yeah fair. Either way, it's a very [censored] poor effort by the club in acknowledging the change of venue.
  6. Is it fair to say because admin/social media team are completely separated from the playing group that maybe there has been confusion to the point where even our own social media team didn't even know they had changed to Casey? Aren't all ou admin team based out on the actual MCG precinct where as our playing is at Aami Park? Just another boring reminder of the importance of having a home base where is based all in the one precinct.
  7. If we're 0-5 I will.
  8. The MFC media department has always been a snore fest until Benny Gibson came along and actually made it relevant worthy. Good to see it's gone back to its original graveyard existences.
  9. Jesus christ what a [censored] show by the club, especially if supporters have already turned up.
  10. Pete Ryan who is one journalist I respect highly has released this article. https://amp.theage.com.au/sport/afl/kysaiah-pickett-to-be-given-time-to-weigh-up-future-20230130-p5cglx.html Melbourne are well aware there will be suitors but are in open dialogue with Pickett’s management and comfortable their premiership forward is happy with coach Simon Goodwin, his teammates and the way his career has been managed. Sources close to Pickett also confirmed he loves playing with Melbourne.

I was a huge fan of his draft year. Plays that outside mid/half forward role and would certainly compliment Kozzie well on field.

I can't open it but I believe it's in regards to Liam Henry from the dockers??
  14. Did that money go to Gus though when he signed the 6 year deal?
  15. My biggest concern also...
  16. Does this mean they are trialling him as a half back flanker from the training you've observed? I too liked him at half forward. I think he'll be a similar player to James Jordon, especially with Woewodin's versatility to play as a wingman, half forward and half back. In today's game it's always handy to have players who can swing forward, back and mid. His kicking at VFL seems to hold up pretty well from what I saw? I presume at training it's a hit and miss?
  17. The Taj Woewodin probably doesn't really surprise and that's even without watching him training etc. But I was told last year by someone who had a little connection in the cooperative dealings with the club that the coaches rate Woewodin's professionalism at a real high elite level. Blew them away in a short period of time just how driven he is with his training and off field work ethic. Again, no surprises considering his old man was one of the most professional athletes in the competition back in the early 2000's with his diet and preparation.
  18. Not sure if this link works? But he was interviewed on SEN SA this morning. Mentions JVR and Taj Woewodin as young players to keep an eye out this year. https://cms.megaphone.fm/channel/NTETP1973407841?selected=NTETP3408867769
  19. You've outdone yourself here Byron. Much appreciated.
  20. What does it say? Paywall...
  21. Haha but then happy to smash others like Hasleby for having one..
  22. Lol c'mon mate... He's a paid commentator/journo. He's doing exactly what he's paid to do and that's simply give his opinion. You say he's an unashamed Freo bias but yet he was the one that actually question the Luke Jackson trade instead of fawning over it like many other WA journo's
