Currently on Carltons list and played 5 games this year after debuting from a injury ruined first year last year. Wingman/half back who's exactly what we're lacking in terms of depth on the outside with clean skills and poise. Showed some real promise at AFL level this year from what I saw and already signed a new 2 year contract extension. He was the one I wanted badly in the 2020 draft and was shocked when we overlooked him for Rosman. My support was immediately behind Rosman when we selected but deep down I was fairly disappointed we overlooked a natural footballer for an athlete who was still raw to the game. Oh well.

I honestly don't mind the Bruce option as depth. But I'll give him the benefit of doubt because when I watched him this year he had a turning circle of Ben Holland/Chris Dawes. Full preseason and hopefully strip a few kilos will help.

They've been into Lobb for a good 12 months now. Once you get on the front foot early and heavily invest into feeling like they're wanted then it's pretty hard to change their mind.

Highly doubt we'll chase any delisted free agents this year.

It shouldn't upset people but I understand why it does. People need to start accepting that footy really is business now. I love the current job I'm in now because of the great team environment we've built and also we socialise well come Friday night after work. I'm currently getting poached by another organisation with a better pay rate but yet not sure how the culture is. In this day an age of cost of living going up I'd have to seriously consider it right? Jacko's situation is different because the element of being around family etc. But footy is business to most with certainly another element of being loyal. Players are programmed differently to us nuffy supporters.
