  1. Spargo has been gifted games since 2022. Find me another small forward in the competition that constantly keeps their spot for zero return on the scoreboard. I'm honestly gobsmacked Fritsch survived this week.
  2. 14 turning 15. First year in the under 16's this year.. Came 4th in the league best and fairest in the under 14s last year.
  3. I think Brisbane are gettable. Win that and i think there is a pulse even though I wrote our season off after the Gold Coast game. Get Petty and Melksham back in this week and then Lever and Viney the following week.
  4. Might have to add Fritsch to that list.
  5. I think that his manager just pouring as much cold water as possible so it doesn't become a huge talking point throughout the season. I can see this becoming a huge distraction on Jackson on field.
  6. It's May so of course they have to tow the line for now to kill the trade talk. In my opinion I think this is a huge watch this space.
  7. I've been keeping a close eye on young Harry McDonald, son of Junior McDonald. Harry plays for Albury Tigers juniors and whilst there is still water to go under the bridge, he's showing really good traits in becoming a handy footballer.
  8. That's a good thing.
  9. Come home wacko jacko
  10. Yeah it's looking like one of the weakest draft we have seen for a long time.
  11. Buckley up folks.
  12. I literally saw this play out on that Flagmantle facebook page.. it was getting that nasty between family members that the dumb [censored] that run that page didn't even delete the comments and left it all on there for everyone to see. Definitely wasn't pretty..
  13. Laurie didn't ask for a trade last year.
  14. Killing it in the VFL too. One of the more bizarre list management decisions going around with Giants keeping him on the list and yet still refuse to play him.
  15. The media don't see it that way and if anything, it adds further pressure and scrutiny on Oliver because his influence is limited due to negating the opposition best mid. Having a tagger with that price tag over his head will bring that pressure on by the media which it already has.
  16. Oh dear.. the irony in some of the comments on here having a crack at opposition crowd numbers.... 🤣
  17. Thanks for this and great insight into our training regime. At least this isn't the same usual stock standard report of everyone being so happy and loving at training that we usually get. The fact that we pretty much have zero structure into our goalkicking especially the basics stuff, sums it all up really. It seems our training standards have dropped significantly due to player driven of wanting more flexibility around more personal time?
  18. I think i was one of a few who were completely gobsmacked by this selection at the time. To me this simply wasn't a standard JT style pick. He lacked the complete physical and intensity aspect of what you need as a key forward. You can get away with it at school footy level which he did, but it simply doesn't translate to AFL level. I know we needed a key forward at the time but I had preferred we just went best available instead of reaching for Jefferson who was very underwhelming for my liking. He has zero physical presence, no intensity, no defensive efforts and has the urgency of a snail. In saying that I was also a staunch supporter of Jefferson at VFL level and have even been strong on my argument that he just needed time over the lasy couple of years. This year I was hoping for a huge jump in his development but I've seen nothing to suggest otherwise Look at Logan Morris last year in his first year last year. Played all of last year as a 18 year old and kicked 24 goals in his debut year. He plays with intensity and urgency. Same as Nate Caddy. Jefferson is in his 3rd year in the system and he looks no where near it. Unfortunately I think JT has butchered this pick.
