PREGAME: Rd 21 vs West Coast
My god.. if you couldn't hate the season any more and the weekly selection blunder then this just tops it off.

Welcome to Demonland: Jai Culley
All debut in round 1 and its only taken round 21 to debut another first year player. Woeful development. To get back on topic congratulations Jai, living a brilliant boyhood dream. Would mean a lot to his family and beyond. For gods sake I hope he doesn't start as a sub.

He's delusional. Needs to go.

Petracca & Oliver at the Dees in 2026?
If Geelong end up nabbing James Worpel then there is no way they will pursue Oliver.

The List Manager
Heaths contested marking si one of his biggest strengths. One touch player. I hope we are interested because I have no doubt he could become a Hayden McLean type forward who can go into the ruck and give a decent chop out Kicked 5 goals in a VFL game last year.

Judd McVee Contract
JUDD McVEE (MELBOURNE) Jon Ralph says: “His contract will push back to the last round of the season now. The Demons are making it hard for him to sign just in regards to their form and morale and uncertainty over the coach. “He’s had that contract in front of him for a full year. It’s not that he’s out the door, but it’s a challenge for them to try and secure him. There’s so many clubs that are interested in him.”

Time to go Goody?
A lot to unpack from that article. Its probably the first time ever under Goodwins tenure that we are now hearing of serious discussions about his future being in serious doubt. One line that stuck out to me that wouldnt please Smith at all was this.. "The dissatisfaction and resignation of members and sponsors is not lightly dismissed."

Media Madness
Really? Which part have you missed this week in all the footy shows and radio staions where the analysis and dissecting of Sundays game? Its been splashed all over the media as well as deep analysis into our inability to to just let St Kilda do what they did in the last. When you lose a game in the manner that we did, with the the season we've, had then of course you're going to attract attention around the coaching future and players being traded. I mean, it is justified..

Petracca & Oliver at the Dees in 2026?
Viney like the 2023 semi final loss to Carlton completely lost his way in the dying moments. When the guy is up for grabs under immense pressure, both Viney and Oliver fail to meet their end of the bargain. They crumble under pressure and Viney is an absolute liability when it comes to close games. Oliver as well. If i had an option between trading out one of Petracca or Oliver, then its Oliver for me. We would be silly not to look at trading Lever as well. Spargo will assess his options at years end. Lucky to get anything for Salem.

Petracca & Oliver at the Dees in 2026?
So you're pretty much keeping the same band that has gotten us to this absolute mess that we are in now? Oliver needs to go. He was woeful against the Saints and his last 2 minutes in the last quarter summed him up best. He loses all composure when thr going gets tough in high pressure game. The resigning of Viney was one of the biggest botched list management I've seen in a long time. Is happily let him go if we could but unfortunately we're stuck with him. Fritsch can stay but where the hell was he after quarter time?

Trade Targets
- Petracca & Oliver at the Dees in 2026?
I'd trafe No.- Trade Targets
He suits them perfectly.- Trade Targets
North have interest in Lever. Where do I sign? Been a grand servant of this club but his body is absolutely cooked and a cannot remember the last time he played a standout game.- Brad Greens letter to members
I agree to some extent. We had the list capable winning more then one. But you gotta acknowledge that flags are incredibly hard to win. We should know by now that even making finals is hard enough as it is but getting to the end of the mountain and sticking the flag in is just next level difficult. I actually would have accepted it even in those years had we actually won some finals and contended all the way to preliminary final stage but unfortunately we didn't.. it was straight up two years in a row of straight finals losses.. I can't cop that at all. Inexcusable really.- Time to go Goody?
"Pick one, Melbourne" Jason Taylor: "Coach number 4933721, John Longmire, Fox Footy, Sydney Football Club" "Pick Two, Carlton" ...- Time to go Goody?
Haha.. old mate Macca changing the goal posts and narrative on the run when called out. Funny stuff.- Time to go Goody?
Im guessing that whole process didn't come cheap either..- Time to go Goody?
Its the significant drop in memberships since last year that is clearly telling. Members are clearly voting with their voice.- Time to go Goody?
I dont tired from calling people up who make up and spread lies. You told me to go do my research and I did. My research dating back to the 2020 review which you referenced and again it showed you made it up like you have done plenty of times. To keep facts as facts. Goodwin did NOT get relegated to coach from the bench in 2021 by higher officials. This is a well known fact. I do love how you have had to resurface this discussion once again out of nowhere lol.. clearly got you playing perfectly in your head.- Time to go Goody?
Haha stop making stuff up champ.. We've already put this to bed. You can create whatever fantasy you want but unless youve got proof that states he was officially relegated to coach (which clearly you dont when we have asked numerousof times) from the bench by higher managementthen its all a complete made up story by your good self. As in said a few pages back, take the L and move on.- POSTGAME: Rd 20 vs St. Kilda
