NON-MFC: Rd 21 2023
So had we kicked straight then it would have been and easy 30 plus point win? We smashed them around the contest and stopped their corridor run. We were able to put enormous amount of defensive pressure which saw them crumble under heat. So what you want, but the credit should be going to Melbourne for showing the rest of the competition in how to stop the pies, not the blues.

Have we officially found our full forward?
For like 2 minutes. Haven't heard of rotations?

The '21 again feeling
After last weekend I would certainly say it does have that 2021 feel about it.

The Run Home
The Hawthorn game is now a danger one for us. Just shows you have to be on your game every single week.

It's the faux tough guy from Maynard that why he's my most hated player in the AFL alongside Zorko.

Harley Reid
I think we'd be crazy to at least not attempt to trade up for Harley. Imagine a starting midfield unit of Gawn, Oliver, Viney, Petracca and Reid ๐ฆ Not only are you picking up another tough country lad (Tongala special) who doesn't take a backward step, but you're planning life after Petracca and Viney. Oliver is still only 25 so still has years left to form a good combination going forward. What this also mean is that this adds more years to Petracca longevity in the game. This will give Petracca the opportunity to spend his last few years as a dangerous forward and not the crash and bash midfielder. Do it Jason Taylor and Tim Lamb!

Farewell Brodie Grundy
You actually don't know that ๐ But sure, keep believing in your own fantasy world of yours. Nah.. I haven't taken into consideration what the media say one bit. In fact I've openly said that I'll be extremely surprised if he asks for a trade. But you can't absolutely rule it out which you've done so adamantly. It's actually silly. In this current caper any contracted player can be traded because contracts aren't worth anything now days. If Grundy requested a trade to further better his football then the club won't stand in his way, especially if they think they'll get a semi decent compensation in return and relief cap space to go for a target that will further strengthen our playing list more then what 600k ruckman at VFL level can do. It would be a mutual decision between club and player.

Farewell Brodie Grundy
Hahaha you're funny one. So now you use the excuse that Jackson wad out of contract? Yet, like what you're doing in this thread, you were happy to jump down anyone's throat aggressively last year who suggested he was going home. Being contracted means absolutely nothing now days. Hundreds of players get traded while under contract in today's caper. Though, not surprised you haven't worked this out yet..

Harley Reid
100% agree.

Harley Reid
Interesting news if true. I'm a big Gresham fan and truly believe his development has been stunted due to St Kilda's poor development over the years. His numbers as a midfield forward certainly stacks up well and could add some genuine X factor to our side.
