  1. In fairness to the club i think we've handled injury management a lot better then what we did last year. Can't help when you pick up impact injuries in finals. The worse part is even our depth is thin as they're also on the injury list. Someone like a Luke Dunstan would have been handy replacement for Brayshaw and even Ben Brown for JVR.
  2. Gawn has a broken toe and Oliver carrying knee soreness according to Sam Edmund on SEN
  3. This is actually one of my concerns going into the game with the emotional toll it'll have on the players. Goodwin has got the big task of getting the players focus back on track ahead of Carlton. Carlton meanwhile are just quietly going about their business with all the momentum going there way. I hope we're ready.
  4. But he didn't.. We're here to win a a game of footy and our full attention on the night should be purely footy focus in beating Carlton on the night. Our season is hanging in the balance and Brayshaw and the coaching staff will not want to make it all about him on the night. Players mindset should be 100% focus on playing 4 quarters of footy.
  5. Mate he's not dead..
  6. It was Max who let Maynard into the house according to Caro.
  7. That's because Lyon to this day still struggles with the passing of his close mate in Danny Frawley. Spuds death hit him harder then the Jim Stynes purely because he knew eventually Jim was going to go. This one blind sided him
  8. Kudos to Garry Lyon on On The Couch who's the only who with a brain on that show. Did a special shout out to the Brayshaw and Frawley family and that trauma this would be bringing them, only to then put up with Brown and Buckley who were on the opposite end of the table in their argument.
  9. Put money it was Steven May or Jack Viney. This reaction from May sums it up.
  10. I'm sure most were saying the exact same thing about us going into the Hawthorn finals of 2018....
  11. Sam Hayes tap work here looks pretty good to me. Jumps all over Pittonet.
  12. Cheers mate
  13. Anyone give summary of the whole article.
  14. It'll be downgraded to a week
  15. I'm not focused in the Brayshaw incident. I've moved on from that as you say.
  16. First time stumbling upon this thread in a while and I have to read this.. How depressing
  17. Still feeling incredibly flat. Can't help but think this is the one that we'll look back as the one that got away. Such a completely different feeling to this time last year. Was just hearing on SEN that Port are currently the walking wounded and if they beat the giants I feel like we could have gotten them at their most vulnerable. Trying to stay positive but it's a challenge to be honest. Worried that this game has mentally sucked the life out of the players.
  18. What's your thoughts on Zane Zakostelsky mate? 196cm tall who's a bit of a utility playing between ruck and full back. He moves really well for a guy his size?
  19. I think this is more or a confronting photo. I don't want this to come off as offensive but Brayshaw literally looks like a dead body here. Oliver and Hunter showing genuine care whereas Steven May literally wants to murder someone and I think we know who that is. I will give a special shout out to Bobby Hill from the pies who whilst Brayshaw was on the ground and the teams had half split into groups, came over and gave Brayshaw a tap on the shoulder whilst he was getting treated by the medical staff. Only pies player i saw do this. Makes you also wonder how Neville Jetta is feeling. Assistant coach at the pies who has to work alongside a grub that's potentially sent a guy into premature retirement..
  20. Absolutely nothing in the comments that give anything away except a troll comment from some random. He'll be fine to play Friday night imo.
  21. Ita been proven time and time again that Gawn forward experiment has completely failed this year.
  22. A compression bandage is a stock standard recovery use for majority of AFL players after a game to help with reducing off swelling and minimise the fluid build up. Makes sense why he's having a light day today as he's probably had a knock to the knee with some swelling or even a corked just above the knee. Would be using the RICE treatment and should be good to fully train by Wednesday.
