See zero issue with any of the re-signing. Bizarre that some are already writing some young players off already because they're not up to AFL fitness in their 2nd year in.. Sestan showed a clear improvement in his fitness levels compared to last year. Another full pre season and I can see him playing AFL games. AMW the same. He's had a taste of AFL action and will now know the level of fitness required to take that next step. Watch him come back in great shape. This was pretty much Verralls first full season in the AFL after missing a huge chunk in 2023. Another who should play AFL games next year after a big summer.

@Vineytime never mentioned anything about it being an administration issue.. Clearly some players including Trac have a complete lack of trust in Pert and Richardson and that's been the noise over the past couple of weeks and clearly this is in line with the information VT is passing on. Pert and Richardson have a big say in what goes on in the football department which the players are heavily involved with. Clearly under their leadership, some of the off field matters have not been handled well at all which is why there's a current external review going.

Chris Fagan is an unbelievable coach. Well done to him. That was epic!!!

Brew has got some interest at AFL level. There is a level of resilience and dedication similar to Mannagh in why clubs love him. His work rate is elite and obviously his consistency at VFL level is why I think clubs see similar to Mannagh.

Keep an eye out for Riley Bice and Dom Brew from Werribee.

Glad someone has finally brought up Riccardi.. it's an absolute yes from me! This one I feel like has gone under the radar especially as his form fell out towards the back end of the year. Has played 19 games for 26 goals and is still only 24 years of age. Has the connection with Mark Williams and a massive upgrade on Petty. Only thing is he's contracted until 2026.

Very interesting about Mitch Cleary on SEN this morning saying he reckons there's a bit to play out with Petracca still. With Paul Marsh being involved and having interviewed Petracca recently I too wouldn't be surprised if this discussion pops up around trade time.

Yes you're offering that amount of dollars and years to attract quality talent that have consolidated themselves at AFL level not a depth VFL player that is similar player to Bailey Laurie and has kicked 1 goal at VFL level this year. You can still attract by offering him a 2-3 year deal with a moderate pay perhaps.

Why on earth would you offer a 5 year deal to a current depth player who hasn't shown much at AFL level. You really do say some odd things at this time of the year SON..
