  1. Completely and utter stopped cold.
  2. Second worst haircut in the AFL behind Dennis Armfield
  3. Michael Walters in doubt for Freo would be handy if he misses or isn't fully fit....they haven't got a lot of scoring power. It'll be depressing if Cam McCarthy and Shane Kirsten carve us up!
  4. Ross Lyon will surely try to turn this into a dogfight similar to Bolton's plan in the Carlton game. We will have to grind it out, Demons by 3 goals
  5. Hmmmm it feels like we are only a couple more injuries away from being in serious trouble. Need to have some better luck from here.
  6. Jason Johanissen came back from a similar injury last year and won the Norm Smith....he'll be back if we are in with a chance of finals for sure
  7. Glad we've got a heap of inside ball winners coz we are going to need them without Maxy giving first use. As long as Pencil doesn't get completely smashed in the ruck we should still be very competitive in midfield.
  8. Gawn and Hogan are arguably our two most important players and we won't have either of them next week, it's a worry no matter who we play.
  9. Missing Hogan badly got no target across half forward
  10. Genuine pressure for spots now even with our injuries and suspensions. Gus was good against St Kilda but a bit down last week and Kent is such a damaging player when on song. Needed to find room for him somewhere
  11. its great and follows the path Beveridge did at the Bulldogs: now they have the best depth and most even side in the comp. Fremantle are an example of what can happen if you don't blood enough youth early enough, the bottom can really fall out of the team.
  12. Well done Bull! He wont die wondering the way he attacks it and I reckon he'll have an impact too
  13. This is true, a palm heel strike is a devastating technique, Dermott Brereton broke Tony Free's jaw with this very action. Dont think arguing it was an open hand would really do us much good.
  14. Dumb and undisciplined stuff from our boys - you'd think with Vince copping his week for a head high hit the others may have learnt
  15. It was a long way from the "worst" win I've seen, we still got home by 4 goals and finished by far the stronger side. The boys did well to grit their teeth at 3 quarter time and put a dogged opposition away, these wins are ultimately more valuable than coasting home when the other team throws in the towel.
  16. Great sign we found a way to get the job done despite playing fairly poorly....last year we drop this one
  17. They want it more than us
  18. Hopefully the game opens up in the second half which will give us more opportunities to score
  19. Have an epic meltdown at the G like last time when I had a whole row of people turning around to look
  20. We just have to get the win through any means possible
  21. I reckon Trac is already one of our most important players, his explosiveness and zone busting long kicks into the forward line are real weapons. He's also a brilliant overhead mark, one out he will beat a lot of players in the air this season. Haven't seen enough of McCartin to make a call on him, just hasn't managed to get himself on the park enough....but taking a shortish key position player with diabetes who doesn't display elite fitness and conditioning at #1 is a big risk.
  22. Harmes played a couple of great games against poor sides last year (Gold Coast, Brisbane)....runs hard and likes getting on the end of a goal.
  23. Have they got a match up for Hogan? Hulkamania could run wild on Sunday
  24. Max just looked like he jarred his wrist a bit in the footage (I hope!)
  25. Prob pour with rain
