  1. Wise decision: stick to training hard on a footy field and actually improving skills and gameplan instead of this rubbish
  2. The shares in his company are up over 700% since listing on the ASX: wish word had got around I would have bought into the IPO for sure!
  3. Just got home and got mine! I'm keeping it as a reminder for some perverse reason
  4. Nope - I can talk about it now but I doubt I'll be over it any time soon
  5. The odds of us trading Max would be 100:1
  6. It will come down to player availability again: an injury list as bad or worse than this season and we will struggle
  7. I would like to hear from the players and coaches specifically why they think we always lose the "easy" ones, and what's going to be done to address this next year. Won't happen though, all you get is the PC garbage it's a tough competition, anyone can win if we don't bring it, we are preparing for their best etc etc
  8. Well know we know "where we are after rd 23" I'd like to hear Simon Goodwin's take on it
  9. Are we going to hear from the club, coach and players or is it just 'oh well'....
  10. The supporters just cant trust the team to turn up and win the games it "should" win. Sure you will cop an upset loss a couple of times in a season (it WILL happen) but 4-5 times? Thats unforgivable.
  11. I still can't believe we have managed to screw this season up, just when you think they've put you through the worst....we beat 4 of the top 8 and the reigning premiers, all the teams around us but couldn't handle the bottom 4-6! Its unfathomable....
  12. Super nervous! On the train so far all Melbourne supporters haven't seen a Collingwood one yet
  13. All we need is a draw to be safe...I'd even take the 2 premiership points!
  14. That Freo team wasn't very good though - 10 wins and a % of 92, they lost their last 3 as well - wouldn't have done much even if they had made finals!
  15. It would be so exciting, 11 years sitting in the outer watching the boys with only the odd ray of sunshine in an otherwise miserable decade....feeling like it's never going to happen again...I'm not sure I'll be able to cope *if* we get there!
  16. We have so much more to play for than them so if there's ever a game where we need to break the opposition early it's this one. Make it too hard for Collingwood early and they'll start to see the end of the season in sight and drop off in intensity. If we give them a good start and keep them in it though it'll be a torrid afternoon....
  17. It would be unacceptable to lose this one - Brisbane were good last week but Gold Coast were ridiculously inexperienced and undermanned - averaged just 60 games experience across the team. No excuses for us this week.
  18. Brisbane have been playing some good footy lately, but it really is time we stopped this ridiculous habit of going half rat power against bottom sides then making excuses when we lose. Full intensity in the first quarter as we saw against St Kilda and Port and we shouldn't have too much trouble getting the W.
  19. Failure for mine if we miss the finals, all because we can't win the games a finals team should - how are we ever going to be a serious footy side if we constantly lose to bottom 6 teams?
  20. Confident we'll be professional enough to get the job done against a bottom 4 team that doesn't have a lot to play for
  21. You would think we'd have strong motivation to beat the 3 sides we play who cant make finals, teams that are out of contention often drop off badly this time of year. Usually it's us copping the floggings from finals bound sides, so it's time to dish out a bit of our own punishment.
  22. I agree I thought it was one of our best wins of the season, up there with Adelaide and West Coast. We had our whole starting midfield out bar Clarry, Maxy is a long was from his best after so long out, but they got it done like a finals team should.
  23. I think we can still win with the side we have....won't be easy but have to keep the faith
  24. Not good, but if his foot was half stuffed all year better it going now than on the eve of finals. This must have been a calculated gamble for him to carry it instead of having surgery earlier.
  25. Hogan played some midfield minutes in pre-season and earlier in the year, looked pretty good too...if he's fit enough could he pinch hit in a few centre bounces and leave Tommy Mac forward?
