  1. Gawn - useless against mediocrity Petracca - tried but ineffective Oliver - season worst game Viney - had no influence Neal-Bullen - nothing after first Harmes - mediocre at best Brayshaw - gave little drive Petty - season worst game Salem - lost all composure Hunt - not required standard Jackson - counted his money Langdon - disposal was amateurish May - not his fault Lever - poor under pressure Brown - an embarrassing performance Pickett - important but undisciplined Melksham - another inept display Sparrow - was he playing? Fritsch - unsighted second half Hibberd - age has wearied Rivers - loose and unsighted Spargo - continued poor year
  2. WA SEN commentator Paul(?) Haselby said on radio today that he feels Freo may be getting cold feet on the idea of investing so much money into recruiting LJ because of his very average year. It’s a huge risk for them and it would impinge significantly on their efforts to recruit or retain other important players.
  3. Actually I meant the ( incorrectly paid ) but provocative manhandling of Franklin that completely transformed the momentum of the game
  4. Gawn - had little influence Viney - disappeared after first Oliver - inspirational and prolific Petracca - injured before injury Jackson - head was elsewhere Brown - was absolutely useless Langdon - disappeared after first Spargo - disappeared after first Brayshaw - limited by injury Pickett - a total failure May - one fateful mistake Petty - seemingly no mistakes Fritsch - ten minute game Hunt - poor under pressure Neal-Bullen - tried but failed Harmes - disposal was poor Hibberd - needed sick bed Sparrow - had little involvement Salem - seemingly avoided pressure Melksham - the bad Melkshy Rivers - was rarely sighted Lever - couldn’t get involved
  5. My 3 worder after the game will be composed by the pool in 28c temperature at my Bali hotel . Go you Demons!
  6. This ‘friend’ of yours seems to regularly have issues…just sayin’
  7. Gosh 100 more pages of conjecture have just been set in motion
  8. Hopefully good enough to have tabs kept on him
  9. AND he has a son
  10. No video of the chickens?
  11. Just an unusual aside: As I mentioned earlier, I’ll be in Bali until the morning AFTER our first final🙄. and I was relieved that the ABC has a coverage here on the hotel room tv ,however I was amazed to discover the Storm game televised live last night without ANY commentary.. the only audible sounds were from the referees and a few errant swear words from players. I’m not sure whether this would be preferable to hearing BT’s ramblings and histrionics… oh wait.
  12. A few years ago when he was still an active Dees’ supporter , Neil Mitchell pushed the idea of a new anthem written by prolific and historically successful tunesmith Mike Brady ( I think ) He played it relentlessly on his program for a week with little audience impact. I suspect tradition will always overcome new innovations
  13. I have a purpose in life now
  14. Obviously the selectors got orgasmic after the vision appeared of Hawkins running downfield to admonish the poor ball movement of his team’s defenders. True captain’s worth🙄
  15. I’ll be in Bali and will miss the game live ( by a day) and yes, thank goodness for the ABC coverage
  16. Gawn - surprisingly didn’t dominate Petty - kept on giving Lever - impassable all game Rivers - back to best May - dominated his opponent Hibberd - absolutely owned Cameron Melksham - disciplined team game Oliver - possibly sealed Brownlow Langdon - excellent first half Sparrow - strong tackling game Brown - finally finding form Fritsch - a wonderful finisher Neal-Bullen - a few cameos Jackson - found some form Pickett - exciting first half Viney - take first options Petracca - dominated when required Harmes - an important return Spargo - was quiet again Brayshaw - classy all game Hunt - held opponent comfortably Bowey - solid all game
  17. I’m off to Bali in the morning.. hopefully with joy in my heart.
  18. His foot skills stood out like a beacon on the weekend
  19. Gawn - willed to win Viney - great first half Salem - almost a liability Rivers - not always reliable Lever - held his opponent Petty - outstanding most game Sparrow - was not sighted May - strength and application Jordon - not moving freely Oliver - class and input Langdon - limited since injury Brayshaw - prolific and courageous Fritsch - career worst game Neal-Bullen - was rarely sighted Spargo- another uninvolved performance Brown - saved by goal Pickett - hero but limited Petracca - not as dynamic Jackson - just a game Hibberd - loose but important Melksham - only winning forward Hunt - great last quarter
  20. Second only to arrogant Carlton supporters who generally are the scum of the earth
  21. Basically if he can hold more than one mark a game in the forward line then he’d be a significant upgrade on Dogga
  22. Just as long as they’re talking about me👍
  23. Was Toby Green suspended for his karate kick/ mark a few years back?
  24. Gawn - couldn’t influence centre Viney - disappeared after half Petracca - few clean disposals Hunt - kept opponent quiet May - not his fault Salem -still seemed lacking Petty - season worst game Lever - dominated his opponent Brown - provided a target Jackson - needed more involvement Sparrow - was rarely noticed Hibberd - looked slow tonight Pickett - poor under pressure Jordan - couldn’t handle pressure Langdon - some poor disposal Neal-Bullen - was rarely sighted Fritsch - had little involvement Spargo - unsighted after half Brayshaw - great first half Oliver - disposals were amateurish Rivers - little to commend Melksham - five minute performance
