  1. If we cant beat Essendon after all this, we may as well pack it up and close shop.
  2. I cant see Watts improving much from where he is. Depends on his efforts up against the hungry, young guys we have coming through. Shopped around but no takers this year. He is a player when he wants to be and can kick a goal, but its all to few and far between.
  3. Great pics and reporting folks. Cheers.
  4. Looks heaps better. Well done to all involved.
  5. Im going with 3. Parish and 7. Weideman if Dons dont take him (very unlikely) so most likely Curnow
  6. Always had a crack for us. hawks will get the best outta him.
  7. Was less than enthusiastic a few days ago.. now... Bring it on. Well done MFC, well done.
  8. Barrett says we get the best big man at pick 3 just to "please" Jesse Hogan in hopes he signs on.
  9. HA! Thats top shelf stuff for me.
  10. I have a bottle of Aldi's finest $30 bourbon just waiting to get cracked open. Cmon MFC, make it happen!
  11. Still no mention of Bugg? I thought he was a lock for us?
  12. We arent sitting on our hands and hoping to win 'a few more games'. We are backing ourselves to have a real crack at the top 8. When is the last time we did that? Well done MFC.
  13. “Importantly, the deal signed this morning was the original deal proposed with Gold Coast involving Jeremy Howe. We have just replaced the Howe to Gold Coast component with pick No.29 – the pick we received from Collingwood in the Howe trade.
  14. Worry about that next year. We have to fix the here and now.
  15. Depending on who is available next year and how well we finish, this could either be a huge win or a epic failure. As long as they have done their due diligence, im happy for the club to take a punt.
  16. You're not wrong. Simply can not afford to stuff them up any longer.
  17. GWS' Tomas Bugg remains on track to join the Demons, with the club expected to use a third round pick for the 22-year-old, who has performed well in 65 games with the Giants. After trading Jimmy Toumpas to Port Adelaide on Monday in a deal involving four clubs, the Demons hope to effectively pick up Bugg, a noted competitor, for Toumpas.
  18. At least Jimmy's utter lack of any testicular fortitude is now Port's problem. Hopefully Kennedy can add some pace we are sorely lacking.
  19. Got to be a joke. Has to be.
  20. Absolutely horrid deal for us. I certainly hope someone at MFC grows a pair and rebukes that deal.
  21. We didnt miss out on anything, we were never in the race. He went up their to get his foot in the coaching door, nothing more.
