He was terrible this year. Absolutely awful. Looked slow, was pushed off the ball and out bodied by guys far smaller and younger than him way too often. And those concrete hands did him no favours. Dropped way too many marks for a big power forward.

He has had more than enough time and more than enough chances. Sad thing is, he actually played a couple of real games of footy this year. Ran hard, tackled, presented well etc. It's just that he falls into his old ways given enough time. I can not see Watts being anything more than "good" for us. Is good enough? You can only have so many of them in a team and given his ability to go missing completely, if his time isnt up, it has to be one an absolute knife edge.

I hope every MFC player was watching that game. Speed at which that game was played was amazing. The gut running was out of this world. Quick ball movements from both teams. That is what we need to be doing.

That was a mercy killing. Freo wasnt in full stride and had quality players out. A handful of guys did there part, but as per usual... abysmal starts, poor running and nightmarish disposals killed us. Umpiring didnt help either. We simpy can not field a team of AFL quality as it stands. Good luck getting more than a few saddists to rock up next week MFC. Happy 200th Chunk!
