AFLW: Rnd 7 V W Bulldogs @ Whitten Oval

Noooooooooo I don’t want to be favorites!!!!
-
I really love the way Bugg goes about his business, but just needs to start kicking those
-
Really pleasing to see how much more efficient we are this preseason. Saints have more disposals but we are well up. we have more kicks than handballs!!!
-
Thank goodness I don’t have to watch those bothersome warm up routines anymore, instead I can get back to watching the grass grow ?
-
You forget just how good he can be
-
Try the app, im listening and watching there
-
This kid has to play sooner rather than later!
-
Groan ??
-
Very pleased to see or skill level up on same time last year. Clearly done some work on that in pre season ?
-
? then you must really hate the walk to Casey fields which I would definitely classify as the boonies! Not trying to say it would be a good idea to set up a social thing there, but if the goal was to be positioned to have the greatest access from a population perspective it’s not a bad location. The ideal location would obviously be as close as possible to the MCG. The Lexus center or whatever it’s name is would be ideal (well done previous board for turning it down by the way! Slow clap ?)
-
Not sure it’s quite in the boonies old dee. It may be a fair way away from brighton, but from the center of greater Melbourne from a population perspective it’s around 12mins away (chadstone is roughly the center) and super easy to get to. not saying I would go there but.

But it is a even playing field mwah mwah mwah!

Who plays in JLT v North Melbourne 24/2?
—coach— replied to whatwhat say what's topic in Melbourne Demons
"This (AFLX) concept ... we train that stuff all the time. The game is not that foreign, the only difference is the scoring. JLT 1, you probably play your best 24, 25 and JLT 2 you play your best 23 and then you are into round one. I think there is a really nice flow to the season now." I reckon our skill level is up a notch on last preseason
-
Officially the highest score ever in AFLX!
-
Umpires loving Carlton atm ?
-
Like to like about the game style we are playing
-
Unless you’re Melbourne in which case you would get found not guilty but given a large fine just for fun ?
-
How’s that for a % boost? ?

Took my oldest demon tragic daughter (4.5years) down to the game yesterday and had a great time. Took us 36mins from Vermont and parked a stones throw from the ground. Walked into the ground and within 10mins she had her face painted, sunscreened up (dad forgot to bring some! thanks Chemist Warehouse stall ?), photo taken with Daisy mascot, got a free bag of stuff including another footy, got some thunder sticks and she wandered onto the ground and joined in with the pre game kids activity. Great start to the day ? Sat behind the goals at the car park end once the girls came out onto the field I watched my girl run around furiously trying to get the balls that were kicked over the fence in goal kicking practice (seriously 30+ yo males behind the goals, let the kids get the ball occasionally!). After she was bowled over a couple of times by 80-100kg blokes she gave up and sat with me in a huff for a while. Before a Melbourne bloke with a lanyard wandered over and handed us and a few kids around us with a demon flag! That made my little ones day and from then on my eyes and those of the people around us were not safe as she waved her flag furiously at any sign of action on the field. Free kick, wave the flag, mark, wave the flag, someone near us says go dees, wave the flag, goal, go absolutely troppo with the flag!!! After the game we raced out to the middle and were one of the first few there, which resulted in a cartwheel celebration from her followed by a rowsing game of run away from dad with the footy as fast as you can as he runs along behind like a packhorse weighed down with all the free gear scored during the day. After bumping into a few people we knew we headed to the car for the journey home. Seriously though, WHO DESIGNED THE CARPARK!!! Who ever did, should have their engineering qualifications jammed up their a r s e! Fortunately I have a large 4WD (not a range rover) and was able to drive over a couple of kerbs and then down the wrong way on a one way street to get to freedom without waiting the 30-40mins to get out ? Overall it was a great day and a perfect way to brainwash the kids into being died in the wool demon supporters! We will be back on Friday, Go Dees!!!

Nice. My 4.5yo got the same pack, she insisted on bringing her backpack on a 4WDing trip I took her on into the wombat state forest, complete with club calendar, tatoos, stickers etc. when we got out to hike down to a stream, she brought the pack along for the journey. wih respect to my membership, I missed out on the scarf I asked for, but my Dad got two he didn’t ask for!

Upgraded my membership this year and both kids signed up too. i must say I do wish the club would be more vocal when things seem to continually go against our club like the draw, umpiring and suspensions that defy any logic compared to other decisions. if you don’t stand up for yourself you will keep getting trodden on. PS who’s [censored] are Carlton sucking to get so many prime time slots?!!!!!!
