  1. The volunteers obviously, burn them at the stake I say
  2. Well I’ll be a monkeys uncle! I was an armchair for years as my working life precluded me from attending most games and had no idea you could get 1 game access as part of the deal!
  3. Armchair doesn’t get you into a game specifically, but they do occasionally send out a free ticket.
  4. Been very impressed with the way Goodwin has managed the people around him this year. Things have been tried and mistakes made, but that’s all part of the learning process for any coach of any years of experience. The Brendon decision was a great example. It’s how he has responded and the adjustments made that show we are on a winner with Simon. Keep up the great work MFC, I’m loving what I’m seeing atm
  5. Haha, yeah been over here for 2.5 weeks, at Monkey Mia atm, and the worst weather up until yesterday was 28 and sunny. Most days have been 30 and sunny! The dolphins are pretty cool at least, my 4yo put on her cute face and got to feed a dolphin this morning so she thinks she’s the bees knees atm.
  6. In WA at the moment (live in Melbourne)on holiday and 27 in the sun when you’re active is hot. Try running fast for 14km in that temperature when your home climate it nowhere near that, and I’m confident anyone would get a little toasty!
  7. Throw in Toumpas and I reckon that would get it done
  8. “Being called out on your [censored] is the worst. It can be humiliating, frustrating, and hurtful. When it happens, the natural reaction is often to be dismissive, defensive, or to complain that the other party just "doesn't get it/you/jokes". I say, go with that feeling. Because if lots of people are telling you that you're dead wrong, you definitely don't want to stop and examine why that is.” - How to appologize without really appologizing website
  9. Hahaha no way, they will still be in the community, just someone else will be getting the profit from them.
  10. So why aren’t they already?
  11. 1. Melbourne 2 downwards: Dont care
  12. Nice. My 4.5yo got the same pack, she insisted on bringing her backpack on a 4WDing trip I took her on into the wombat state forest, complete with club calendar, tatoos, stickers etc. when we got out to hike down to a stream, she brought the pack along for the journey. wih respect to my membership, I missed out on the scarf I asked for, but my Dad got two he didn’t ask for!
  13. Upgraded my membership this year and both kids signed up too. i must say I do wish the club would be more vocal when things seem to continually go against our club like the draw, umpiring and suspensions that defy any logic compared to other decisions. if you don’t stand up for yourself you will keep getting trodden on. PS who’s [censored] are Carlton sucking to get so many prime time slots?!!!!!!
  14. Does anyone know what the contract status of Isaac Smith is?
  15. Remember the other year when we traded up from nothing picks with academy clubs and ended up with a high first rounder?
  16. Definitely seeing a pattern: 2019 Demons 2020 Demons 2021 Demons
  17. Ok I'll go first, Lamumba, Toumpas and Dawes for Kelly?
  18. Kew is right near Hawthorn! Damn Hawks have their nose in every bloody trough! ????
  19. In addition to other people's comments, we have higher attendance figures this year than both the bulldogs and north. Not trying to make an argument either way, just throwing that into the mix for general conversation.
  20. Not sure if this is the right thread for this post but check out this quote from Mark Evans... Evans also said free agency would need to be monitored as it was not having the desired impact on equalisation. "I think we say that the draft and the salary cap is a great equaliser, and we've added in free agency, which doesn't seem to have the same equalising effect," he said. No shi* Sherlock!!! i don't think anyone else would have ever in a million years expected it to be positive for equalization!
