Sighhhhhh

The only way that is possible is if tigers loose and wce don't knock us out. If wce don't knock us out, we will play port. edit: beat me to it chook

Thought I would bump this while we're looking for answers. Do think training facilities are part of the problem and know (I'm involved in elite sport) that money does buy improved success (through the ability to afford every possible thing that contributes a percent here and a percent there to success). What about Fawkner Park, heaps of space, a wider oval than Goshes and close to MCG? Would take some investment on our/AFL/state government behalf but if others can do it why can't we?

Sitting at home feeling very deeflated at the moment. Incredible what effect a footy club can have on you ?
-
Syd haven't locked in 4th, Richmond only need to draw or better and they move ahead of swans, port have to smash Gc to move ahead of swans
-
Tigers only need to win by 1 point to go ahead of Sydney, in fact they can draw and move ahead of Syd. If they do Syd drop to 5th, and we are most likely to finish 8th or 9th. So will play swans, port need to win by heaps to go ahead of Syd and if Richmond win, swans will be 6th and we would play port

Need to go pedo in the ruck for a bit and play Gawn at FF and keep hogan a CHF. Gawn has been hamstrung by the mysterious rule that for the first time in forever was being paid in the saints game. we need to complain about the number of ruckmen that jump early and impede Max's ability to contest the ruck contest, today being a great example

Well that was a very interesting way to secure your finals chance! Lazy, lazy, lazy! Will need to lift massively this quarter if we want a sniff of September action

At Heatherdale station, just seen a small family of 3, hopefully we outnumber them 10-1! Go you good things ???? edit: 5 more have just turned up ?????

MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - ROUND 23

Your last line had me pissing myself laughing in the fish and chip shop where I'm picking up my Friday lunch. People are looking at me funny ???? -
Or Hogans! ?

Doing the same as the dogs with our Darwin games would help too: http://m.afl.com.au/news/2017-08-23/dogs-to-give-cairns-home-games-the-boot

Ok I'll go first, Lamumba, Toumpas and Dawes for Kelly?
-
This may have come up already but does anyone have the stats for number of games played melb v Brisbane from the weekends game, plus the average age etc?
-
And then be suspended for 4 weeks because the AFL wanted to crack down all of a sudden on the blight on the game of rag dolling (otherwise know as touching another player in anyway shape or form)! ?
-
No hard feeling on Dunn from my end, but totally agree on your sentiments for Howe ?

Today is the day we exorcise the poltergeist of expectation that has haunted us for years that causes us to play like a b grade VFL side whenever we are odds on favorites to win. Put them to sword efficiently and effectively Demons!!!

You live nearby?

Gives me hope though because the same bloke that set them up, set us up in our latest rebuild. They're just a few years ahead of us
-
My feeling was that we were loosing it in the center and the delivery provided to our forward line was very ordinary rather than it being a specific forward line issue. It certainly didn't help when the umpire pulled our free after free in the third directly at the center bounce, which meant the ball was straight away in their forward line.

MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - ROUND 22
—coach— replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Not a fan of Hogan returning this week as it doesn't seem to gel with the mantra that Goodwin has maintained most of the year in that forwards must be prepared to defend aggressivly. I may be the only one that thinks it, but I have been pretty frustrated at Hogans lack of second efforts, continual playing for frees and one dimensional approach to his role. Not to mention the injury which surely can't be ready to go yet! -
Did the same, mostly bagging out their own, kinda like we do on here when we loose
-
PS Go pies! (don't believe I just said that!)

You should have shouted him a beer ??

Not many I guess, who GAF what our coach says too I guess? "Sam Weiderman and Cam Person provided great aerial contest for us"
