  1. How can any demon supporter be grumpy today with the news of TMac re-signing!
  2. Just came back into phone range in Geraldton WA and saw the news!!! BEST NEWS EVER, whoop whoop ????❤️
  3. Watching he video a couple of times, it doesn’t look like a fully blown ACL injury. Looks less serious than that, so keeping my hopes up atm
  4. Anyone got an updated on Level? Or Lever for that matter?

Just woke up in Exmouth WA, on holiday with the Fam. If you ever get the chance to dive with whale sharks DO IT!!! We (wife and two girls 4 and 2yo) went out the other day and we had an epic day. 3 islands were our tour group and they were exeptional. My girls eyes nearly popped out of their heads when they saw their first whale shark up close ( 3m away), a memory I will never forget. Wife follows Bulldogs, so me and the kids are going to be ganging up on her and trying to get the boys over the line. Looking forward to the boys playing arressive, skillfull footy such as we have been treated to over the past few weeks. Go Demons! PS Thanks for everything you have done for the club Nathan, hope you have a ripping day and the boys do you and all of us proud???
  7. All I can say is that those selected must have received 4 brownlow votes for their respective games because Hibberd was unbelievable.
  8. Been very impressed with the way Goodwin has managed the people around him this year. Things have been tried and mistakes made, but that’s all part of the learning process for any coach of any years of experience. The Brendon decision was a great example. It’s how he has responded and the adjustments made that show we are on a winner with Simon. Keep up the great work MFC, I’m loving what I’m seeing atm
  9. To be honest, with how well we play Marvel Staduim now, I would be more than happy to play another game there. MCG would be better of course. Just FYI for those interested our average home game attendance so far this year is 55k, while Carlton in 42k, Essendon 42k and Hawks 37k. We’re curently 4th in the league for home ground attendance. Will change after this weekend obviously though with the max capacity of Alice being like 6k!!!
  10. Haha, yeah been over here for 2.5 weeks, at Monkey Mia atm, and the worst weather up until yesterday was 28 and sunny. Most days have been 30 and sunny! The dolphins are pretty cool at least, my 4yo put on her cute face and got to feed a dolphin this morning so she thinks she’s the bees knees atm.
  11. In WA at the moment (live in Melbourne)on holiday and 27 in the sun when you’re active is hot. Try running fast for 14km in that temperature when your home climate it nowhere near that, and I’m confident anyone would get a little toasty!
  12. My father in law has watched the replay of the bulldogs 2016 GF at least 40 times now. Would love to know what that feels like ?

Throw in Toumpas and I reckon that would get it done
  14. Ok with brisbane beating up on the hawks the question is, how the fluk did we loose to Hawthorn?
  15. I’m going to go look again, struggling to find us... OH WAIT THERE WE ARE WAY UP NEAR THE TOP! WTF!!!
  16. Toatally disappointed we didn’t win by 150, sack the coach, trade all the players and disband the club!!!
  17. Are we talking all shots on goal, or just set shots?

We accumulated 8 of our 12 wins when he WASNT playing last year, so I think we could just look to how we did that and copy it. Gawn played 7 Games last year for 4 wins and 3 losses (57% win ratio) When not playing we won 8 of 15 (53%). Not a massive difference really. The big difference was that our midfield seemed to accept we wouldn’t win the tap and focused their energy on reading the opposition ruckman and simply sharking it.
  19. Watched the game on a crappy little 30cm, non flat screen tv in a cheepo motel in Ceduna SA (driving to Perth from Melb) and had a ball! Really happy with the guys today after a big couple of weeks and great to get a good win. We have a good run coming up and if we keep the pedal to the metal will be well placed at the bye. At the pub now celebrating with a pint of ale, a giant steak and chips and watching the sun set over the ocean. Living the dream people, living the dream!

It seems when rookies come into our side they instinctively know where to be inside forward 50, then after a few weeks they become more and more indecisive and caught out of position. Is this a coaching issue whereby rather than allow instincts to dictate position the players are instructed to be somewhere which goes against their natural instinct?

Time in forward half this quarter 82% Melb, 18% Ess. Result 1.3 us, 3.1 them!

Why doesn’t Gawn try holding the ball straight when taking set shots? May help with his kicking atm
  23. Two things: - we play better at Etihad due to the dimensions, so very happy to play there this week - the royal blue jumper is awesome

I really hate people forecasting doom and gloom on the game day three, but I’m really struggling to see a lot of positives here

Including the 1998 and 2000 GFs or just home and away?
