Have to say although we won a flag and he played a key role in that I didn’t see a long term position for him in the team playing off the wing, but this year playing out the back really changed my opinion, I think this role really suits him and you can’t fault his commitment to attacking the ball really raises the bar for everyone else to follow.

Think the knock on Tomlinson is unwarranted, he was asked to play the Steven May role once Petty was injured and he ain’t no Steven May, he is fine as the 3rd / 2nd tall imo if May is back next week and we wanted to try Petty up forward for example. Lever also should get some criticism for leaving Tomlinson out to dry when he is the senior player with May out, he needed to play a more negating role and be less attacking.

Keep Tomlinson down back and put petty up fwd he showed in 2019 I think he can kick goals

Signs have been there all year of the drop off in some aspects since last year combine that with a few injuries and we are back in the pack. Until we can generate more scores per entry we are going to be vulnerable to the better teams.
