Interesting if Weid does go out, tmac went back for one game and played well in the two's gets in on back on covid changes and plays just ok. But Weid who despite flaws in his game has kicked goals and even helped in the ruck last week. Not sure what message that sends

Problem with smith is more he isn’t Petty, May got burned a few times by leaving smith as last man down back which cost us a few goals, I doubt we would have the same issue with Petty in that situation

Mcc member here and the whole thing is borked, went to book 6 tickets for next week and the whole of level 1 and 4 baring a few seats is sold out there for we are not going to be able to go, was at the game on Saturday same deal before that, but guess what heaps of empty seats on the day. Before covid only a few bays were open to reserve seating but now it’s the whole thing, but as there is no cost I suspect people reserve the seat and just don’t turn up but this prevents other people going.

Not that he will be an out but fritsch really needs to lift was quite disappointing tonight, shirked the contest a few times altogether looked out of it.

Nothing tonight made me more comfortable about next week but then again 5 forcefully changes due to covid and we won. Next week will be our first test against a fellow in form team the outcome of which will tell us a lot.

Seems no tests are required before game day, so unless someone is obviously showing symptoms there won’t be any changes

Anyone else find our wins this year outside the gws game a let down, I rewatched basically every game the next day last year this year I can’t bring myself to rewatching any of these they are all so bad.

I must have missed when lever and petty came j to undefeated sides for Smith and Tomlinson, Ben Brown if fit is our best tall fwd no way of fit he doesn’t come in regardless of team form

Ben Brown in is a no brainer, I could make a argument for for dropping both Wied and Tmac, why not both and give Mitch Brown a call up.

Who would he have stayed in instead of with petty and lever now back. Think once those 2 were back him and Tomlinson were both out regardless.

This contract should be Gus’s payday but since his last contract he has fallen down the pecking order even as good as he has played this year so far. For him to stay he is going to have to accept a pay cut no 2 ways about it. With the way he is playing now he will no doubt have offers exceeding what we can afford by some margin. Upto him if he says for success or goes for money either way he has served his time and owes us nothing.

Backline looks so settled now lever is back, he has to be the one player we can’t afford to loose

If we can’t beat port missing Aliir, Dixon, Gray and Duursma and in poor form without Brown we have bigger issues Just to add Crows kicked nearly a 100 points with there structure and personal we certainly should no excuse

Going over the Port team for tomorrow I’m surprised how inexperienced they are, no wonder they are struggling this year. I know it’s always a danger to take a team lightly but we really should do a number on them tomorrow all things being equal.

Agree many would jump on smith but the fact is we play a zone defence and that only works when everyone is doing there bit, unfortunately with Lever, Salem and Petty out along with Essendon getting some easy entries into there 50 the system breaks down. May plays from behind for that to work someone needs to fill the hole and that is usually Lever. I’d argue whoever is playing that role is more at fault.
