Would you not buy a Membership if ......

Lots would say it, 99.9% wouldn't act on it. It's an emotional investment that can get the better of us but not to that point. -
surely not the pies?

You only make "mistakes" when your picks are regularly higher than everyone else. You don't make mistakes in others eyes when your first picks are lower down

The Big Dance - Grand Final Day, 2017
KysaiahMessiah replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
Ridiculous. Essendon were far and away the best side in 2000, I was there, I was gutted. But it wasn't "disgusting" -
Without enraging the masses IF Jessie left we would no doubt be more than adequately compensated. I don't think that's going to be the case with Watts unfortunately. Not comparing either players or their worth, but trading is trading and football is a business. If you are adequately compensated, maybe even come out in front, all is well. On the other hand........

7 news last night saying "most of victoria" hoping for a tiger win......yeah right I for one couldn't face football for months if they win
-
Let me get this right, because Roos brought in HL we shouldnt take notice of what the man says about JW? Please.

Saw that too, his comment about football clubs being "brutal at times" confirmed it for me too....sadly
-
Several players ? Who ? Nathan Jones' comments were along those lines, what other player/s ???
-
nope, and on precedents irrelevant anyway
-
think I agree...but it IS the rule and too many precedents THIS year to ignore it...
-
It doesnt matter what the game "has become". It matters being consistent and on this years precedents he has to go. You dont change the rules because of the the game he could miss.

Theres the key, had other options, chose to hit him in the head. All its needs is to be a fine, and hes's rubbed out.

When you brace and choose contact before you try to get the ball, get a guy in the head, and concuss him, youre gone. But AFL wont let that happen.

Agreed but I think its pretty obvious what Adelaide could have done to WC if they wanted/needed to. Our fault yes, but no denying WC had it way easier than they should have.

100% Give me a hard running, high pressure, considered, well executed goal over flukey torps or banana/checkside any day of the week. I hate that freakish, but flukish, goals more often than not win GOTY. I like pure football

Sort of glad others feel the same...frustration turned to anger and now, sadness. Never thought that last weekend would make me feel this way for so long!

Your comfort zone equates to what Jordan Lewis said on 360. He said that the training sessions, even matches, for great sides are "boring". That everyone knows what to do, its second nature. We need our zone to become boring and predictable (to us, not others). Predictable excellence and predictable execution under pressure. He was very interesting to listen to last night.

Hate them all you ( as I do) like but one of the nations biggest clubs wants to play us in a "blockbuster"to open the season. Just shows we have come a long way, despite the obvious disappointment right at the end. People who dont see this as a positive and a great fillip for the club are deluded.

Sledging on the football field? Too precious, nothing to see here....
