I think players also take into account is if they will get a regular game. Getting hard to get a game at Melbourne recently so that's why teams like the tigers, saints and carlton get nominated. They get decent $ anywhere they go and as long as its not a total basket case they'll get chosen. The only way to beat this is too pay outlandish contrast, hence the tigers?

Every coach in the land should be tuned into what Bevo is and has been doing. All 22 boys play for him and each other so strongly that this game is actually been played on their terms. Their disposal isnt textbook however they follow up and cover that they can afford to make up for it, juat imagine if they had a couple of true A+ Superstars??? *Note, all Melbourne players should take note that if each and everyone of u play ur role aswell as b a competitor u will play finals and if u can do it for 120mins u will definitely play in a Grand Final. I think a lot of people will be surprised with trades/delisting this year. I wouldn't be surprised with Grimes - Most likely traded if possible (out of respect) or Delisted. Terlich - Delisted Michie - Delisted Dawes - 1 yr deal (as emergency) with deal in place with emphasis on coaching. Pedersen - 1 or 2 yr deal Anb - Cant believe ppl talk about trading this little gem. I personally think he is not playing in his preferred position that suits his attributes. Nobody can deny he cant get the footy. 25-30 touches each vfl game which to me says he can get it, knows where to hunt it so he should be forward pocket which for all we know he will be as the coaching instructions have been to play him midfield to fir certain reasons unknown to us. Will not be traded. Newton - Can play but odds on to be delisted or traded Matt Jones - Traded or delisted King - deliste Dunn/Garland - 1 will be traded * almost back to a normal footy club where its obvious 4 each year get turfed. For all those people who question Del Santo's pace, that is not why we are drafting him ffs. Throughout the season we were top 3 or thereabouts in contested possessions/clearances so it shows we get our hands on the footy first however our problem is using the footy wisely and this is where Nick comes into play as we need goid finishes our bollocking mids can and will feed it to.

I think we look at other teams game plans regarding drafting another ruckmen. Too many problems convincing another ruck to sign because they wont the safety net of their original club to be a backup, quality ruckmen are already starting 22 so wont budge and that leaves the lesser name bigmen and we all know too well from seasons past that u cant carry players and we aint mediocre anymore (WIPE GEELONG FROM MEMORY BANK). So what to do?... Max is our starting ruckmen and when needs to rest he obviously heads to the forward line and instead of our current situation of part time 2nd ruck we do what teams do to Max to stop his dominance. We use 2 particular big bodies to double team when Max rests. This works for everyone from Max to Spencer. Now draft time comes round we are in a very good position to draft on needs only basis for first time in my memory anyway! Most likely swept under the carpet or the usual rule changes to suit the afl whenever they feel like, need to or have their backs up. Do they honestly know how good their competition is ffs. I love football and without any bias whatsoever it is THE best sport played in the world.....HOWEVER It is overseen by the biggest , but very powerful boysclub. My belief is the top players are in control of our game as without realizing it they run it subconsciously. Now my issue is u could be blind freddy and still run the competition because its that GOOD (UNDERSTATEMENT!) These Muppets have no idea about sport and come up with these ridiculous weekly social issues to promote or some VERY,VERY cringe worthy concepts or promotional ideas yet they cant kill AFL. Iv gone off track a little and doesn't read as i imagined but seriously the head honchos at afl house would be dangerous if not so comical. Id give my left one to be involved at that level to manage the game as i can see the game as a supporter of sport and that the possibilities are endless but not these bozos. Everyone and myself included can and will sit back and analyze the game with ease, and yes some gameday tactics look bleedingly obvious however how are we to know what plans or non-negotiables have been put in place? Roos has said that this group wants to learn and most times when come in from quarterbreak the players want to know how to fix the problems not go to plan B. The players and staff back themselves in. Against the saints we conceded easy goals out the back and watnot and could have at least tried to shut them down but im sure the players wanted to stick to the game plan of the Diamond. My point is we dont know what gets said between players and coaches on game day. I know its frustrating but tbh the club has been basically rebuilt from scratch with should be a blueprint for any club and we are so close to success and when it comes we will absolutely dominate the competition because of the mindset of our players and coaching department .

He is very, very, very lazy footballer who gets by with talent. It easy to be sucked in with these types of players as i remember thinking few years back that with his skill set he could play in the middle or run with if he had a "Big Preseason".... Pigs might fly...

The saints on equal or close with us with talent but the bulldogs dont come close. Their game style of move it forward as quick as possible can mask this by conscious quick movement. Doesnt have to be pretty just effective however it only the skilled sides that beat the bullies so lot to like with us

Although i wouldn't trade or entertain any trade involving Hogan or any other of our young players this is probably the best trade senario posted
