  1. Just out of curiosity, is there anything in the rules or technicalities that would make him eligible to play this weekend coming from outside the squad?
  2. We're into our 3rd year under Roos. He isn't silly and and especially now we're competitive and on the up. Good game to debut but even though he looked so-so during NAB, so did rest of the team at times yet still won. We're no basket case and hes obviously proven his spot in the team internally. 3rd year, Trust Roos!!
  3. Gone a bit early mate Few more topics/posts (good) before talking DYNASTY yet. Also the players listed are all complimentary players. Its not the year its the core group which in my opinion is Hogan, Salem, Tyson, Viney, Petracca, Brayshaw, Oliver with maybe Weideman ? Keeping them together in 3-5 years time might be tight ..?
  4. Just sat down at my local. Recently moved so had to cancel Foxtel. Instead of $130+ (monthly) to watch beloved Demons only cost couple bucks for pot, the place is empty and 50inch tv to myself ☺☺☺ Back to the footy... strap urself in for 2016
  5. All in all he not much of a human being after backdooring club. Especially doing it from the confines of safety at home by taking easy way of not talking face to face.C'mon, really? Im sure the Geelong decision was made after leftthe club but im happy to be corrected. Its not wat he did but how he did it. Has depression needs to step away from the game.. Not a problem, also collects a fair payout...Again, not a problem. 11th hr approach by another club... Be open however as Dees done everything possible to be accommodating it wouldn't be fair to play, and lets not forget the poor boy feels hard don...sorry Depressed so he takes 12mths off to get healthy b4 thinking of playing. Guess what? ?? No problem even if with another team. Why?? Because he was open, not clichéd. Also still collects $$. Honestly nobody would bat an eyelid and wished him well
  6. It stinks to high heaven and im trying to.be restrained however it isn't hard to communicate and if "the illness won't let you" im sure i read he had one of these things they call..MANAGERS!! Call conference explain how it effects him if feels uncomfortable at the club, instead of putting his hand out at, FMD!! the worse time to pillage the payroll and im sure people would bend over backwards to help or sympathise. ANYONE?? Pi55 weak individual and i dare someone to say otherwise. No more PC rubbish, big difference between being a troll to telling it straight. Life isnt black and white.....a lot of Grey
  7. Holy smoke...trust me i love a good conspiracy story however clear ur calendar for 12mths if keen on the penthouse suite at the nut house if brave enough to go the next level on conspiracy stories........until i just viewed the YouTube clip. I rewound clip dozen times and it doesn't lie. There isn't a Geelong player who makes contact. 3 cats, 1 caught spoiling from behind, 1 attempting this from side on almost behind 1st player i mentioned and the other attempting to follow Brown chasing him as he runs back with flight of the ball. Nobody is nor comes near clark nor is any position to get elbowed except Brown who does. Plenty of time for Clark to tuck arm in to protect himself but he no joke...takes Browns head off. Watch the footage intently, pause, rewind...is this for real??
  8. SORRY!!!!, How can u or respect someone who doesnt respect anyone. A very shallow, selfish individual who pulls the pin when it gets all too hard.. oh but puts in more effort on getting paid out and finding another club. How many pics do u c of him having a laugh with teammates...0 Wat u reckon Selwood's opinion on the person Clark is.. For a person who wouldnt be short of a story it sureis quite on the Mitch Clark front. Treat people with respect and it normally gets paid back in spades though if u need to be told this.....?
  9. Ands thats sugarcoating it. Im still trying to work out how on one hand he hot all teary and emotional about Stynes journey aswell as wearing 11 then on the other, no problem quitting on us(+$). I dont think he'll endear himself or has to his teammates at the Cattery.
  10. I've read he's injured his troublesome calf again. At the time of his departure I thought we were screwed however I'm now of the belief we're ahead in the trade and might just win. I sense his retirement /delisting is getting closer as he only played half dozen games in 3 - 4 years.
  11. Thinking the same... anb and stretch are not extractors, they are runners and should be receiving on the outside. Very astute drafting. Without being vindictive I'm surprised Prendergast hasnt been hung, drawn and quartered..?
  12. What I really like is that nobody has compared him (Oliver) to such and such player... Or Petracca for that matter. Both are very unique in their own way.
  13. Agree, imagine the possibilities especially without injuries. Also Im betting Petracca will have a massive impact this year just like Hogans second year.
  14. He is going to be a unit and combined with Salem, i reckon they could dominate the play...
  15. I think we do or are very close. Starting from the backline we have solid unit in Dunn, Macdonald, Jetta, Salem etc are all hard at it and can tackle. On to the midfield and there's a list of absolute solid candidates who compete. We also have 3 players who either haven't played or been on long term injury who could be potential A Graders.(Petracca, Oliver, Trengove) Finishing up forward with Hogan, Kent and even Dawes if form permits. Look at our previous sides in past years and I reckon when they click it'll go BANG and surprise everybody?
  16. After looking at our list, I think we have a very good midfield without Jones and Vince. Tyson, Viney, Brayshaw, Vandenberg, Stretch. We also have a glut of talented players who might spend time through here as well which could leave us in the enviable position of having Jones and Vince run off half back with Salem?
  17. Beat me by that much....Seriously, think of a 6 ft+ bollocking midfielder/ halfback comes to mind when Oliver fills out which. I refuse to compare him with anyone in particular as I'm hoping (only atm) he'll be better. As with great teams you need great players as history shows and with us we've gone pretty hard at a certain brackets of players over the last 3/4 years, combined with the handful of best performed players. The bonus is and cant work out for the life of me why the media arn't all over us or at least acknowledge us? Not even the "potential"? Only slowly are clubs(and not that many!) have talked up Hogan which I thought strange. As much as I want success straight away in 18mths-2years I reckon we'll be able to say as a complete, one of the best lists going around. Salem, Viney, Tyson, Brayshaw, Petracca, Hogan, Kent, Oliver, Weideman.. Iv probably forgotten a few but basically the list of the "Potential A-Graders" for the club that Iv just mentioned are only the newcomers. Serious talent on the list even after the bungled years of watshisname doing the drafting
  18. Exactly. ..Peripheral vision, quick thinking which not only changes but inturn he dominates passages of play. Footage, footage, footage. ..its there for everyone to see and dissect. 110% conclusive and sold on 2015 #4.
  19. How can you not believe the hype with all the provided footage. Not having a dip at ur opinion however i think its pretty conclusive. In most clips they're not highlight which are Marks, Goals, Biffs and Brawlers etc but instead huge parts of the game which dominate play. Yes he outmuscled underage players but HE HAS THE BODY TO COMPETE AGAINST MEN when able to step up. Most footage shows he ahead of play by the actions either he or his teammates take ie not just a handball but handballs to advantage. Only My opinion but i cant see anything else except....Star?
  20. Long.....Long way mate Very....long way mate. Apart from last year(Hogan lol) its been close to 8 odd years since I've looked forward and got excited about the weekend game. How good does it feel to actually debate spots in our side or park future stars in the twos till ready. The funny thing is this is the norm for successful clubs...and fortunately US. Apologies to mods for going off subject
