  1. Love how the lions are backing themselves in. Well done G.Fagan
  2. Just read the outcome for Ryder regarding the MRP. What a bloody joke.. King Hit and only misses a week. The MRP are pathetic. I cant even find the words to describe them really. Disappointing doesn't even come close
  3. Exactly. Obviously i wont name him but he worked very closely with me to get the outcome i wanted. They can put their name on just about anything without getting questioned. We got rogered and Carlton didn't even put on the lipstick
  4. What absolute rot... All the doc has to say is its his/her OPINION. Surprise, surprise Patricks playing this weekend.
  5. Im sure the heads at AFL call the mrp and dictate whats f....ing what!!! Not happy Jan!!!!
  6. What a load of absolute! @#!..... MRP have no f.....ing idea!. Scott Thompson the biggest weak piece of #@!/ only gets 1 week for a dog act.
  7. As much as Oscar makes me lose it sometimes, his field kicking is very good Evil however when the tank is dry it can go down hill quickly
  8. Couldnt care less if i get shot down over this comment but I've had an absolute gutful of Oscar Mac. Seriously? ?? Still playing like a deer in the headlights. Absolute zilch mongrel factors and doesn't want the ball. Please heal quickly Smith and hibberd!!!
  9. Watched hibberd train other day and it was mentioned by another seasoned observer that he doesnt seem interested. I kept an eye on him after this was mentioned and the glove seemed to fit... Doesnt get around the boys, appears a little overweight and not very happy. That was firsthand impression. Melksham on the other hand is the complete opposite, happy to talk, hasnt missed a session and my guess will go on to play at least another 100 games for us. I wish that i could give hibberd a glowing report however i reckon the game might have gone past him especially the speed its played atm so will be a mighty effort to get back to form as we would be a much better team with hibberd in our lineup
  10. Wasnt a good training run from watts yesterday. I think he is really feeling the pressure as i saw first hand Hannan took a screamer over him and then to top it off he got crunched hard when he hit the deck on his shoulder. Kudos though as he still took time after training for signatures with half of Gosches Paddock imprinted on his shoulder.
  11. I attended my first ever training session yesterday and the thing that stood out was how tight the boys are with each other. Also i would like to shout out a MASSIVE THANK YOU to the lovely lady who assisted me with lots of inside info the general public doesn't hear. I arrived after getting off the boat completely unorganized however she gave me half dozen playing cards/marker pen and i was able to meet the boys and have them all signed aswell as big Max signing my copy of Inside Footy which he thought was amusing. Ironically i parked outside the Holden Centre( Yes i know... its the enemy) to grab a drink and in walked Bucks for his morning coffee. Before i know it HE starts up a conversation and wanted to know about me...wtf? What a gentleman, and very down to earth individual. Could not have met a more genuine human being. Topped off my morning !!
  12. Also good test to see if we actually have decent depth with alike for like with selection
  13. Good test to see where we're at.... Eagles posting a strong lineup. Round 1 dress rehearsal
  14. I was one of the first to "Talk the Talk" regarding Oliver Clayton who now "Walks the Walk".. Now for my next trick....Corey Maynard. He is an absolute brute of a specimen and im predicting a better clone of Luke Parker/Nat Fyfe (and i hate comparing players as they are their own person) . Underage gun who once kicked 15 goals in a junior game u15's before concentratingon a promising basketball career. Watch this space !!
  15. Pagan was a good coach as previous posters mentioned. He called a spade a spade and was a father figure to a lot of players over his coaching career. His coaching under 19's stint was great, a great human being and a good man. Unfortunately he was screwed hardcore at Carlton. "Member" when the Blues had the draft sactions imposed??? Yes they were to blame however quite simply that screwed the pooch for 10 yrs. Its now 2017 and they have finally acknowledged a proper rebuild. History will judge Dennis unfairly after the 2000's which is sad if you research his creditionals pre- Carlton.
  16. I think it was more than just money. He was coming off serious injury and we all know how quick a career will come and go , let alone getting picked. I think he has a weak mentality which is why he went to Richmond. ... a lot easier to be a walk up start however if he came to us he wouldnt be an automatic inclusion and would have to earn it as we have serious midfield talent. Personally i think this is the reason we get overlooked by YOUNG players as they know they'll have to work hard. Im willing to bet my left nut that our next player (s) we go for and get are the genuine SUPERSTARS who wont have any problems getting a game as they are elite and working hard is normal thing for them. Also by going to Richmond he'll be lauded as the "Second Coming ", abeilt selfish player. 2017 draft we will be up to our ears with trade requests and im confident we will land him. Hope this makes sense
  17. Do what the umps did in my u10's..... stop play, take possession of footy and kick it to the nearest player away from the congestion and call play on lol
  18. On a personal note i think everyone needs to take a chill pill regardig the "Weekend Commado". Because of the specific nature of the training drills there will and can be unseen injuries or at least a high element of risk. Because of this and just in case people are still unaware the MFC is a professionally run organisation now which is why they went on camp at an optimum trime frame and if anyinjury happened there should be plenty of time to be ready for round 1. Regardless of injuries what Jordan Lewis is doing is phenomal pushing, challenging, the aggression plus add the sen best 22.....if Goodwin can keep the hype down i reckon wed might be a scary propersition
  19. Great news for the club and supporters. Well done PJ and Congratulations!
