The Petracca v McCartin debate reprised
If you google "Cale Morton" the third auto response is "running away".....

The Petracca v McCartin debate reprised
I think he still holds the AFL record for running away from a fight in an AFL game....

The Petracca v McCartin debate reprised
Paddy could end up being an All Australian forward, but Petracca is next level. He has the same mystique about him that O'meara had before he had all of those injuries. Paddy will be a very good player, Petracca could be something very special.

Clarence Oliver
I wish Clarry moved like shinkansen! I have him more in the "James" from Thomas the tank engine category. More of a solid worker than a jet.

Biggest rivalry?
Collingwood for me. We have 5 of our 12 flags against that mob. Not only that, but that rivalry was once the white v blue collar clubs back in the day. Amazing to think we are the battlers these days!

Josh Kelly
GWS will become a destination club for players wanting a flag. Last time I checked Kelly hadn't won a flag...he isn't heading anywhere anytime soon. Usual off season bull dust journalism

The Wiz is one of my all time favourites growing up. To think my boy could grow up watching his boy in red and blue is special.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - MICHAEL HIBBERD
Just a side note, I expect Hibberd is around the 300-400k mark, so they might require another move also to free up space)

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - MICHAEL HIBBERD
The longer the Jaeger deal drags on the cheaper Hibberd becomes. If GC and the hawks can't broker a deal, Jaeger goes into the PSD with a 700k price tag on his head. If Essendon want him, they need to have 700k in cap space. If the Jaeger negotiations break down Essendon will need to dump Hibberd to free up 700k for Jaeger. If they carry Hibberd they are less likely to be able to sign Jaeger. The dees are playing this very well.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - DECLAN KEILTY
Keilty was impressive for Casey in the games I got to see. At 21 yo he is the perfect rookie list candidate. It's a shame to hear we may have already passed on taking him.

Delistings
I'm starting to think his retirement would be a good thing. I feel for the guy but for me he is the odd man out with a developing back 6 and the addition of hibberd. I can't see him getting games in 2017 or 2018 ( if his contact is as long as suggested) unless we are crippled with injuries.

Ed Langdon
I haven't seen enough of him to be swayed either way. Averaging 16 disposals a game this year, and is only 20 years of age. If the price is right then why not.
-
Nat Fyfe
If he wants a flag he should join GWS. They have the assets to deal and Freo are already into a few of their players.

Delistings
One of Garland or Dunn will be offered up for trade. Lumumba is an interesting case. One year to run on his deal and has probably been replaced in the best 22.

The youngest most inexperienced side
To make matters worse, some of our older and more experienced players are some of our must vulnerable. Remove grimes, dawes from the list and there goes another few hundred games.

Jay Kennedy-Harris
Wow, this hamstring injury has plagued him this year. Another 4-6 probably means we don't see him playing senior footy this season.
- The Incredible Hulk - Jesse Hogan

Lynden Dunn
Dunn has been one of our most important players for years now. His form shouldn't surprise anyone. He has done some big jobs down back for us over some really dark times. He will never be our best but he is so damn important in that back six.

Demon Cheersquad, Late 80's
Or everyone on demonland donates 50c to get him a membership. Wouldn't take long given how many active members we have. My old man has been a member for nearly 40 years, and I can tell you that if it came down to school fees and membership I would have gone without school books. Hocko must be a great parent to give up his first love of the MFC for his family.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CLAYTON OLIVER
Early days yet, but he does look the goods. Certainly looks like he has top end talent.
-
Darcy Parish
I'm not concerned with Parish's height. 180 is fine for a midfielder.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - JOEL SMITH
Interesting signing. I know nothing at all about him! I will be down at Casey so I will see how he develops next season.
